Why when I go grocery shopping I see black people with 2 carts full or groceries.Do they have too many kids?

Should i make a racing lawnmower or a go cart?

i have a old 18hp engine that i plan on tuning up some on a old lawnmower and im either just going to use the lawnmower frame or im going to weld together my own frame from some pipes and put a roll-over bar and id also probably add a little bed in the back for carrying camping/hunting supplies so what do you think i should make a racing mower or a go cart?

I'm going grocery shopping… what else can I put in my cart besides food???

Hmmmm.. it seems to me that one member of the Yahoo! Answers community is very closed minded about what should or should not go in the cart at the grocery store. I thought maybe we could help her be more open-minded about our questions and perhaps inspire her to think outside the box.

I’ll start! I put my 3 month old baby in the shopping cart in her carseat and I will deinitely let her sit up front in her shopping cart seat cover when she is old enough because I have severe back problems and, although I’d love to, I can’t always carry her in a sling or front carrier. In fact, I have even put my dog in the shopping cart before! :>)
I agree but I’m tired of hearing how "there’s no reason anything besides food belongs in a grocery cart" Everyone is different and different ideas, advice about parenting should be respected not put down by her.
I don’t feel inferior. I FEEL that her responses are often unnecessarily rude.

Does using two engines increase performance?

If I were to make a go cart using 2 lawn mower engines, would it increase the horsepower and make it go faster (higher mph)?

Or would it just increase acceleration?

I lost my drivers license, how do I go about replacing it?

I had a money clip with cash, license, and insurance card in my pants pocket when I left the grocery store. I was riding in electric cart to car and it must of slipped out.

If i insert a GBA game into a DS lite, will some part of the cart besticking out? or will the whole thing go?

where can i buy a 250cc engine for go cart?

I’m looking for a 250cc engine for a go cart.
I’m also looking for the cost around 0-0.
And it doesn’t matter what kind of brand the engine is.
-Thanks

Does a store owner have the right to kick a customer out?

I went to a grocery store and purchased 6.87 worth of items.

The cashier thought the credit card machine was not working, therefore, swiping my card 3 times.

I look at my bank statement online the following day, and it shows 4 total debits of 6.87. This means my grocery cart cost me 0.61, plus the 6.87 that is rightfully theirs.

I take my statement to the manager, and the manager refuses to credit my account until a huge fuss is made.

This is the cheapest place to purchase groceries, so I went the following week and well…. the manager came up to me in public and told me "Excuse me, management would prefer if you did not shop here anymore. Please exit now. Thank you."

Being ripped off and being humiliated in public, and being thrown out of a store when I did nothing wrong –

do I have any legal defense?

Does the store owner have the right to do this?

Have you tried any of these things?

1. Take shopping carts for the express purpose of filling them and stranding them at strategic locations.

2. Ride those little electronic cars at the front of the store.

3. Set all the alarm clocks to go off at ten minute intervals throughout the day.

4. Start playing Calvinball; see how many people you can get to join in.

5. Contaminate the entire auto department by sampling all the spray air fresheners.

6. Challenge other customers to duels with tubes of gift wrap.

7. Leave cryptic messages on the typewriters.

8. Re-dress the mannequins as you see fit.

9. When there are people behind you, walk REALLY SLOW, especially down thin narrow aisles.

10. Walk up to an employee and tell him in an official tone, "I think we’ve got a Code 3 in Housewares," and see what happens.

11. Tune all the radios to a polka station; then turn them all off and turn the volumes to "10".

12. Play with the automatic doors.

13. Walk up to complete strangers and say, "Hi! I haven’t seen you in so long!…" etc. See if they play along to avoid embarrassment.

14. While walking through the clothing department, ask yourself loud enough for all to hear, "Who BUYS this crap, anyway?"

15. Repeat Number 14 in the jewelry department.

16. Ride a display bicycle through the store; claim you’re taking it for a "test drive."

17. Follow people through the aisles, always staying about five feet away. Continue to do this until they leave the department.

18. Play soccer with a group of friends, using the entire store as your playing field.

19. As the cashier runs your purchases over the scanner, look mesmerized and say, "Wow. Magic!"

20. Put M&M’s on layaway.

21. Move "Caution: Wet Floor" signs to carpeted areas.

22. Set up a tent in the camping department; tell others you’ll only invite them in if they bring pillows from Bed and Bath.

23. Test the fishing rods and see what you can "catch" from the other aisles.

24. Ask other customers if they have any Grey Poupon.

25. Drape a blanket around your shoulders and run around saying, "…I’m Batman. Come, Robin–to the Batcave!"

26. TP as much of the store as possible.

27. Randomly throw things over into neighboring aisles.

28. Play with the calculators so that they all spell "hello" upside down.

29. When someone asks if you need help, begin to cry and ask, "Why won’t you people just leave me alone?"

30. When two or three people are walking ahead of you, run between them, yelling, "Red Rover!"

31. Make up nonsense products and ask newly hired employees if there are any in stock, i.e., "Do you have any Shnerples here?"

32. Take up an entire aisle in Toys by setting up a full scale battlefield with G.I. Joes vs. the X-Men.

33. Take bets on the battle described above.

34. Nonchalantly "test" the brushes and combs in Cosmetics.

35. While handling guns in the hunting department, suddenly ask the clerk if he knows where the anti-depressants are. Act as spastic as possible.

36.Hold indoor shopping cart races.

37. Dart around suspiciously while humming the theme from "Mission: Impossible."

38. Attempt to fit into very large gym bags.

39. Attempt to fit others into very large gym bags.

40. Say things like, "Would you be so kind as to direct me to your Twinkies ?"

41. Set up a "Valet Parking" sign in front of the store.

42. Two words: "Marco Polo."

43. Leave Cheerios in Lawn and Garden, pillows in the pet food aisle, etc.

44. "Re-alphabetize" the CD’s in Electronics.

45. In the auto department, practice your "Madonna" look with various funnels.

46. When someone steps away from their cart to look at something, quickly make off with it without saying a word.

47. Relax in the patio furniture until you get kicked out.

48. When an announcement comes over the loudspeaker, assume the fetal position and scream, "No, no! It’s those voices again!"

49. Pay off layaways fifty cents at a time.

50. Drag a lounge chair on display over to the magazines and relax. If the store has a food court, buy a soft drink; explain that you don’t get out much, and ask if they can put a little umbrella in it.

*BONUS* Attempt all of the above during the same visit.

How do you manually change the amount of electricity in a circuit?

Hi, i am building an electric go-cart, and i want to know how to install a foot pedal that will change the amount of electricity flowing through the motors. I am using a motor with 10 horsepower and am using DC. i am stuck in the middle because i have no clue…

My EZ-go golf cart is hard to shift.?

My electric golf cart is hard to shift. The shifter is located under the seat. Right for forward and left for reverse. I lubed all the connections and it’s still difficult. I’m thinking there may be a bushing that went south.

What to do as an adult being bullied?

I’m under 40/over 25, physically disabled after a health crisis 4 yrs ago., average looking, white, dress well/clean clothes.
Recently, an employee at a store I shop at began bullying me, being verbally abusive, *shoving, *pushing, *touching my arm (*which are considered "abuse" by the police), voiding my purchases at the self-check out tills, taking items out of my cart & generally treating me like crud. She goes out of her way to do this to other physically disabled people I know. I’ve seen her treat elderly people the same way too.

I’ve told her clearly and calmly to leave me alone. She won’t. Now I ignore her completely, but she just won’t let up. She’s middle aged, white, average looking.

I’ve shopped at this store for years. I’m on a limited income which limits which stores I can shop at, and this store is miles closer than another of the same chain (WalMart). I don’t think my friends and I should have to avoid the store in case she’s working that day. What do you think?
I’ve spoken by phone & in person with the assistant manager (manager was away). She assured me she would talk to the bully, said there had been other complaints about her & said the bully would behave better in future. That was a week ago & the bully hasn’t changed.

Not much chance of her being fired because there’s a huge labour shortage here (in Alberta, Canada).

As for shopping elsewhere, it would be a financial hardship & also harder to get to somewhere else.

Coil? heating up on EZ Go Electric Cart?

Whatever is between the batteries and the motor gets hot from time to time. I spray WD40 on contacts and pedal linkage and this seems to help. ?

How to remove Golf cart Governing system?

How would i go about removing the governing system from a golf cart. Will this be part of what is needed to make one street legal.

What should I use to make the chassis for a go-cart using a lawn tractor engine?

Our lawn tractor ("ride-on lawn mower") broke the other day – the sprocket that drives the blade belt broke, and my dad just got a new mower. My brother and I are hoping to eventually built an off-road go-cart with it. It’s an 18-horsepower horizontal-drive engine (I’ll have to figure out a way to convert the rotation to a vertical driveshaft). Anyway, I’m planning on using the wheels, axle, steering linkage, etc from the old mower if possible. (The goal here is to spend as little money as possible.)
Anyway, what should I use for the chassis? I don’t want to buy a ready-made chassis, as that would cost $$. lol

I’ve got a friend who does basic welding, so I’m thinking some kind of lightweight tubing (maybe tubing from a chain-link fence)?

I also have an abundance of every sort of wood (we recently tore down two barns and a corn crib) but I’m assuming wood is too heavy and has too much flex.

I’d be very appreciative of any suggestions – especially from people who have done this in the past!
Thanks for the input, where would I get those materials?

what is the best kind of go cart engine?

How to increase the power in a lawn mower engine?

Right now I have a craftsman flathead engine making 5.5 hp.

I’d like to put it in a go cart or mini bike sometime, so more power would be more fun.

Any tips?

Is there a solution?

Long story…I’m fed up with my marriage. I don’t know if there is a peacful solution.
We both work full time and have 2 children together. This is my day compared to his.
I wake him up at 4:30, get his cloths together, PUT HIS SOCKS ON, make his lunch and breakfast shake, and make sure he has everything before he heads out the door. He commutes with someone so he sleeps on the way to work. I go back to sleep for about 1 hour which is about the same time that he starts working. I then do the same routine for myself and the kids, and head off to work. He is a laborer and I work at a desk. He rests on the ride home and gets home by 4:00. I leave work at 4:30 to get to the kids on time. Almost always, the first thing I walk in the door, he is complaining about work and asking me to do something, ie rub his back get him something to drink…etc. All this before I even get to take my coat off. He has never in 8 yrs done laundry, dishes, cooking, shopping, the bills, errands, kid carting.
He doesn’t do ANYTHING except workout after work. And, then he barks orders at me and wonders why I don’t have time to work out. After I make dinner and do homework with the kids, dishes and laundry….while he works out and eats, and sits watching tv…still barking orders….at the end of the night, he expects me to please him, and feel lucky that he still wants sex and that he is home instead of out at the bar….idiot.
Anyway, He is also a liar/exagerator. If I try to talk to him about it, he backtalks or gets angry. He can’t take rejection, and tells me I’m criticizing him, and then starts to say nasty mean things to me.
I have recently given up. I let the house get to be horrible, and am doing the bare minimum. Mostly just taking care of the kids, not him or me. And, instead of talking to me about it. He freaks out and tries to tell me how hard he works, and how much he does and I should get the shit done and not ask for help.
What did I get myself into and what can I do?
He’s not retarted, just an a-hole. He moved from mommy to me, and is not responsible enough to get himself up. He will actually refuse to go to work. He tries to act like he is so responsible because compared to the rest of his family, he is the lesser of the evils. But, how can he expect me to wake him up like I don’t have work, and 2 kids to take care of with no help?
When I try to talk, we fight, and he thinks because he does an occassional oil change, or fixinf the washer, that he is saving us so much money, and that I should be happy cause I can’t do it, and he will try to tell me that if I won’t do it, another woman will…so what…then he’d be her problem…not mine!
Oh, he doesn’t pick them up cause his car needs breaks….yeh right.
OHHHH, I forgot…he also smokes pot and refuses to quit even though we can’t afford it and I hate it!
I stayed home for the first 2 years when we had kids and he worked 60-70 hrs. a week, so he got used to treating me like a slave, but I have been telling him for years that it has to stop. He obviously isn’t going to change.
