I have an electric go-cart I use for school projects. (I teach Physics.) We’re showing it off at an Earth Day Festival next month but have a problem. It only works for about 3 hours and then the batteries die. I’m considering buying a second set of batteries and having them charged and ready to replace the used ones or I’d prefer to buy batteries that would last the entire 6 hours. Right now the go-cart is using 4 batteries connected in parallel. The batteries are each 12 Volts and 33 AH. However, the manufacturer suggests 12 Volts and 35 AH. My question is, can I use 12 Volts and a much higher AH rating to get longer use? Would that blow the capacitor? What would be the highest rating without hurting any of the electrical parts? Any other suggestions for improving time of use would also be helpful.

I know someone who wants to create a new entertainment or recreation business in our town in california. We are still trying to come up with ideas. We are looking for some ideas.

So far we thought about doing a nickle arcade, a indoor go cart track, and a laser tag arena, and a sonic (the closest one is 30-45 min away) the reason we haven’t done these is becuase the go-carts would cost about 500,000, the other laser tag arena around us failed, and a sonic costs over 750,000. Haven;t researched an arcade yet.

I’m bored as hell, so I decided ot start a new project. Right now I’m in inter. auto shop so I have a pretty good amount of knowledge about engines, how they work, stuff like that but not EVERYTHING. So if you think there’s anything I need to know first please let me know.

I don’t want to buy a go-cart, I want to make one. Mostly for the experience, fun and sentimental value (not to mention it gives me something to do) and plus I’m going to be opening my own auto shop within the future so I would like something that can kinda sorta give me a nice kick in that direction.

Keep in mind that I don’t want to spend all that much money on this (maybe 0-0). I just want a pretty good go-cart or maybe even a good utility go-cart (if there is such thing. Just something that is rugged and can hold up in woodland environments) so I don’t want the best of the best, high end components.

So if there’s a site or if you can even perhaps go through the steps on how to make a go-cart from the ground up with me, starting with a lawnmower engine or chainsaw engine, that will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

this halloween i wanted to take our golfcart out & im 14 years old and about to turn 15 which means im getting my permit soon.
im going around in a high class neighborhood and she wont let me go without an adult.
she thinks that if one of the people that are coming with me are gonna fall off the golf cart and hurt & break their leg or something and that since shes "in charge" of the kids then that their parents are gonna blame her and sue her?!
im getting so f***ing maadd. & im NOT gonna go around a high class neighborhood with my MOM in the golf cart. im basically 15. thats just sad.
plus if me& my friends walked, it would take almost 5 minutes to go to ONE house.
what can i say to her thatll convince her to let me go ALONE WITH HER!? or an adult. she knows im a good driver and wouldnt let anyone else drive it.

I’ve got a frame and an old push style lawn mower I’m about to rebuild. I’ts pretty weak (5.5 hp briggs) but I don’t have much of a budget. The biggest dilema is getting the power to the rear wheels with the vertical shaft. I was thinking chain driven, little differential if they made them, rack and pinion gears, or maybe some kind of front engine with a driveshaft thing. I’ve been thinking about it a lot and I’m stumped, any ideas?

I learned basic gymnastics on my own like hand stands, cart wheels, splits, tumbles, and all that stuff. If I sign up for gymnastics, would I be able to get into the more advanced classes? Or would I have to go through each class level?

Okay – the surf and the sand is GREAT – but my kids also want to be able to do something else (go-cart, mini-golf, aquarium, etc. whatever, they aren’t too jaded, and amusement rides are NOT necissary).

We are tired of MD/VA beaches, and would like to try the slower pace of NC, but still have access to stuff "to do".

Anyone have any input in which beach I should be focusing my attention on?

What should I get him for Christmas? He is 20 and loves quads. He races quads in the NEATV series. I can’t really get him that kinda stuff though, because he owns his own shop. He doesn’t really care too much about music, and likes eating healthy. He does want a big dog, so i was thinking of adopting one for him. But I don’t know if he just plans on doing that together. I was told by a collector that Snobow Kids was one of the rarest, if not THE rarest, 64 game in Japan.

Are any of these games worth hunting for as a collector? I’m considering saving up bookoo amounts of cash between now and May (the next CCAG) to haggle with that vendor again for more of them (There were Endless ammounts, truly a sight).

I need help finding an electric motor that I can run using some car batterys that has good horse power and that doesnt cost much. Also what else would I need to control the speed and power consumption.

I’ve heard about kids starting at 6 and I want to get my daughter started. She loves riding in my uncles go-cart with me. The faster the better. So I want to start her off with one she can drive.

I want to make a go cart with my friend and we have about nothing to work with. Is there any way to make one with daily stuff you use?

My dog, had a seizure yesterday. She came out of it fine.(She’s been having seizures every couples months for the past year or so). This morning she woke up, unable to move her hind legs. We took her to the vet and she said that she is paralyzed. She gave her a shot of Prednisone in her spine and sent me home with some pills to give to her over the next couple days or so. I was wondering…has anyone went through this and what was your outcome? She is a 7 y/o lab mix who is VERY energetic. I know she is very confused right now and I am doing everything possible to make her comfortable. Also, has anyone used carts for their dogs when paralyzed? Thanks a lot!

hello my question is can you turn a briggs and stratton engine with a milwaukee generator on it in into an engine for a go cart obviously with out the generator still attached it seems like the crank shaft is a little different from one like for a go cart but i could be very wrong about that anyways another question i had about this is how do i get the part with all the wires wound around it for the generator off the crank shaft i got most of it off but now i left with that still on my last q is i noticed that i didnt need any kind of throttle when i used it as a generator there is a part on the carb that looks like a throttle link or something but i never had to mess with it am i going to need a different type of carb i dont really know much about the engine the only thing on it was 4 cycle 10.4 CDI 171CC 4HP thank you

The solenoid that engages the gas engine starter via the throttle (foot-pedal) was very warm during a preliminary inspection. I want to be certain before going into town to purchase parts. It appears to be a multifunction solenoid located inside the eng. compartment and is wired to the ignition switch, battery, armature, and a relay switch,(forw.-rev.)? All the wiring and battery terminals are OK, the key ignition switch checks out OK. I disconnected the (new) battery to de-energize solenoid with no success. What’s next?
