I baby sat a young boy from the age of 16 mos to three years of age. He was with me an awful lot. At times more the 40 hours a week. "appointments" that lasted over five hours at a time. Don’t get me wrong, Christopher was a joy.

I wanted to ask other parents what they thought of this. I went to the store one evening with Christopher and his mother before they could drop me off at home. The mother let Christopher run wild down the aisles of this gigantic grocery store. At first I tried to blow it off. Reminding myself. "Hey your not babysitting right now. Mommy dearest is right there." But as we went to check out, toddler finally in tow (Because I called him over), he broke loose and went running down the aisles and out of sight. This time I went to go get him, and I brought him back. His mother freaked on me. "He’s okay, you’re not his mother." I’m sorry, letting your kid run around in the grocery store when your not paying attention is one heck of a way for you child to go missing. I was always taught when you have small children you don’t turn away from them to browse, you don’t walk away from the cart when their in it and you definitely don’t let them run around while you shop!

I don’t know maybe because she was there I should have just let it go, but it really pissed me off. I don’t have any children myself, but I am an adult and I still felt responsible. Should I have step back? or was Mom out of line?

everytime we go to a restaurant first of all the high-chairs are always filthy and the STRAPS are always broken….anytime i go to a changing station…if there even is a changing station….the STRAPS are broken….what is wrong with the world? don’t they want our kids to be safe…obviously not..i will have to say tho…most department stores are pretty good about that…the straps are usually okay on the carts…anyways..just wanted to get that out and see if anybody else felt the same way!!!

It is a gas engine and it was just overhauled 2 yrs ago and does not have much running since being overhauled. My husband is very handy and has replaced many parts trying to figure out the problem to no avail. Can you help?

I think gasline would go down if we all just used it for getting to work, going to the hospital and other basic necessities. We surely consume a large percentage on silly recreational use- boats, races, go carts etc. I posted this idea one other time and a woman wrote back " boating is not silly recreation..its relaxing"…I think we are doomed….

Okay,i’m riding around my neighborhood on my bike and i stop at this park thing where a buncha kids are at, which is weird ’cause theres nothing close to a park in my neighorhood and so im just doing something, and i start kinda dancing like a ballerina…i dont like em, i just like the grace and stuff and i can’t really dance ballet. so then i stop,ride around and i come back,and the boys whistle n stuff at me cause i guess the wind flipped up my skirt, i dont usually wear skirts,and is showing my panties,so i pull it back down and start heading home when their dorky boy who’s from middle or highschool asks me if i wanna go out.i say no and keep riding.so i’m mumbling to myself how i dont wanna date and things,then suddenly i realize he’s following me,so im pedalling faster and faster,trying to lose him but it’s hard. so i turn down this street and i see this old friend in the neighborhood as a kid again in their family’s van,and i kinda beg her to help,she looks at me then the guy,who’s suddenly in a go-cart and she says to me,"uh-uh,i dont like him" so i yell over my shoulder,"but i dont like him either!" so i keep riding and i’m near my street and i glance over,and he’s in a car with some man,and i scream,"go away or i swear to god i’ll call the police"as i pull out my cellphone and wave it at them to prove i will.dork boy gets out and starts following me and i get the feeling he has a gun,so im pedalling and i look down at my phone,watching my fingers press 911,then i wake up.

I keep going back and fourth if I should just get a conv car seat rather than one of the infant carriers. My son was only in his carrier for five months before I got a convertible one. Part of me thinks it’s a waste but then I think of how convenient it was when we’d go anywhere to just plop the car seat into the stroller or shopping cart. I can’t make up my mind! If you skipped the infant carrier, are you glad you did?

it was set in some kind of public ally way in town, it was night time i was just about to get into this mini go-cart thing and drive away :S .. but someone grabbed me from behind and pulled me back, it was my ex and she was dressed really hot wearing a tiny dress and a visible Gstring. She demanded a lift to this certain place 25km’s away (it wasnt mentioned but i got the vibe she was going to meet her current boyfriend) and said i owed it to her (i’m guessing for cheating on her while we were seeing each other). I told her i’d only drive her if she gave me a head job, we began walking behind a building while i put my arm around her and she pulled out my d*ick and started rubbing it, while walking i nearly slipped off the curb into a weird pit but managed to jump across to safe side to her.I woke up, & could remember the whole thing (usually i forget my dreams).

(model car). for my science class I have a go-cart due tommorow and i have the wheels, and the sticks..it has to travel 2 meters and it cannot be pushed. Intro
It was time. The year was 1737, it was America’s turn. Their turn to elect and decide. There were only two choices, but if the population voted inadequately, America would start spiraling into devastation. Our country would crumble; greedy, rich men would be the worst dictators the world has seen. Most Americans would be scared. The nation would be classified into two very drastic categories. To us, in the present, it would seem very hard to live a hard life like this. But for the Americans now, after the horrible decision, it seems as if this is the life, like you can’t get any better than this. And our world will become very bleak. And unfortunately, on the day of May 2, America voted poorly.

Chapter One
I opened my sleepy eyes and stared up at my plain gray ceiling, of my plain grey box house. Groggily, I turned to my old alarm clock which was now reading 4:37.
Oh crud, I thought thinking about my bosses infuriated red face. I slept in almost thirty minutes! I had to hurry and get ready or who knows the consequence. I hurried and put on my plain work uniform as I did every day for three years. On the bright side, I could easily get ready in less than five minutes.
Over half of all people inhabiting America live the same exact life as me. Same grey box house. As well as the same job as working for our ‘master’. Our greedy king, Charles, has issued that all humans earning fewer than twenty thousand dollars when he first started ruling, must live in these poorly built houses and serve to the rich. But if you were exceeding that twenty thousand, the king provided money to you so you may live the life of luxury. He chose this, because in his exact words, the poor are dirty scum that knows absolutely nothing. And that one sentence, compared to what other ghastly words slip out of his mouth, makes him sound like a charming person.
After pulling on my mandatory grey jacket, I walked down my bumpy cement steps and walked to the side of my box to retrieve my old bike. As I was pedaling down the gravel road, I noticed my King Charles sticker plastered on my handlebars was peeling. I ripped it off and threw it to my side. I kept peddling and saw most of the bikes were out of the driveway in my neighborhood.
I don’t have many friends, not including my master. Most masters were quite harsh to their employees. Once the non-wealthy turned eighteen, they were immediately assigned their ‘master’. Jonathon, my boss, and his wife Rachel were actually really nice people.
I reached my masters house which was a huge two story building. I parked my bike inside the open garage which also housed two fairly new cars. Walking up their smooth steps, I slipped out my rusty key unlocking the door to their family room. I found my master, Jonathon, resting his feet on the leather ottoman placed in the center of the open room. He looked up and muttered something under his breath as he got up to greet me.
I spoke before I let him. “I know I’m late, but I can explain.” I droned on about how my tire popped and had to get it fixed and so on. He totally bought it and instructed me to go to the local store, as he was handing me what seemed to be a grocery list.
For the second time that day I rode my bike along the roads. I reached the store where the ‘dirty scums’ shop. I walked in and saw many faces wearing the same plain jacket on, all probably shopping for their masters, considering this shop was in the middle of the city. A guy, probably not caring, asked me if I needed help with my shopping. I told him no, I had been here almost every day and knew this store inside and out. I pulled out a cart and wheeled it to the small produce section looking for a fresh pineapple, Jonathon’s favorite. I finally decided on a quite large one, and returned to the list. The next item was a can of soup. I pushed my cart to the soup and noodle aisle. I got a headache from all of the pictures of our king plastered on every can and box. I picked out one endorsed by the king that was beef and vegetable.
After picking out all the food, I headed toward the checkout line. I grabbed my bags and headed to find my bike among the thousands. I noticed on my ride home that my bike was the only one in the lot, that didn’t have a King Charles sticker placed on it. All of these bone-headed people thought that the king was the best person in the world. They all looked up to him, but don’t you see where we are right now? With plain grey boxes as houses. I sighed knowing no one would ever change their thoughts about the ‘marvelous’ king.
I parked my bike once again in the garage and headed back into the house. Noticing that Jonathon or his wife Rachel wasn’t in the spacious room, I set the groceries on the counter and started the daily chores.
After a long day working, I pulled up to my house at around nine o’clock. As I walked in, I hung my coat up, sat down and turned on the small television Jonathon had given me. The face of a popul

i have taken the battery out because it stop working so i thought of putting some sort of go-cart engine in and i was wondering is this is possible and if so what kind of engine would work best (be specific).

im 26 years old and ive been disabled since i was 21. used to be mobile and able to be athletic and do gymnastics and then i got injured and had to leave college and now i can barely walk and have chronic pain every day.
i have trouble moving or bending or getting up and down steps.i have pain all of the day

i cant clean a home or hold shopping bags,push a shopping cart, walk more then a block, drive,do laundry or hold a frying pan.i am barely able to get out of bed some days.
i dont know if i will recover.but my life expectancy is about 98 years old before i got hurt. its genetics where my relatives live long.they dont age very fast so i have 85 yr old relatives that are very youthful and still active and walk much faster then me

i am crying in pain all day and im hoembound some days i cant get out of bed. i have trouble using the toilet, showing and dressing but i manage on my own, i want to keep my dignity and try to do things on my own. im afraid ill end up in a wheelchair, a doctor told me in a few years ill be in a wheelchair confined to one

how do i live life like this? go out into the world and start my adult life as a handicapped girl whos is pain all day crying? i live with my parents still and have never been independant and i still need to finish college but i cannot do that.i cant hold a book or walk without losing my balance or wobbling and walking very slow. it takes me a half hour to get up a few steps sometimes.i cant concentrate on schoolwork if im in pain, so theres no way im going back to college in this condition
school used to be rigorous, i would have to run down hallways and race up steps carring heavy books….
