    Yes.

    Lots of people do that.
I was also planning to make a gokart and using a lawnmower engine.

Go Kart Engines are usualy 1-10HP engines that are the same engines used in lawnmowers.

i dont think so … and why would you wanna do that anyway??

  3. Simon says:

if you have enough parts, than yes

  4. Jo says:

    no too dangerous

  5. pink says:

yes if your mechanicly minded enough. as it won`t be easy, it could be quite technical. drive shafts etc. you could purchase a second hand one reasonable.

absolutely, if you have the know-how. Just be aware that the primary cylinder is facing downwards, you have to transfer the energy to the side for the wheels.

you can’t tip the engine too much because gas will spill and/or the flow to the plugs will be affected. So you have some things to alter or add of course.

Yes in fact you can. Don’t expect it to be very zippy though! Lawn mower engines are actually the best solution without going to go buy an aftermarket engine

Yes I think it could be done, I used to keep hearing that lawnmower engines were the motor of choice for homemade go-carts anyway.
