Why do young kids feel the need to over modify a Honda Civic? They do realize they are disposable cars, right? I mean they originally cost about ,000, so when these kids buy them used with 150,000 miles on them for 00 and then sink about 00 into them between rims, paint, mufflers and body & suspension kits. Do they know how ridiculous they look driving in them? They look like a little kid driving a go cart in the street all done up so that people will look at how stupid they are. Why not buy a real car that is 90% of the way to being fully moded, like a Mustag or Camaro, with a REAL engine in it and original sold as a sports car and not as a secretaries car. Add a nice exhaust on a Mustang and you have one of the nicest sounding cars on the road with true acceleration. Not some little lawnmower that sounds like it is farting and going no where too fast.

I’m a beginner golfer who actually started playing at courses after going to driving range for a long time. I’ve always thought of golf as something you can enjoy during the weekend, where you can have some fun and talk to your friends while playing the game. As I have played through about 5 to 6 courses now, all I’m getting out of it is just hitting the ball, hurry to the next spot either in cart or running, then hurry to the next spot and sometimes not even finishing the putts. All that thanks to the friendly, patient, well mannered golfer groups behind us. I’ve played at course that cost from to 0 and the same thing happens at all of them. Can someone tell me why people keeps rushing like that in golf? Are they just trying to show off cuz they think they’re all good? or are they really that busy and need to go somewhere? even the golf course owner did that to us and some "player assistent" dude keeps rushing us too. I just don’t get it……

My credit card company is sueing me and they’ve told me that they will place a court summons at my place of employment (is that even legal?) and that I have to appear in court and pay for all of the court costs and fees. What happens if I don’t show up to court? All I’m worried about is being carted off to jail or something. I really don’t care if they win because there’s not a whole lot they can do. And is it true that I would have to pay court fees and such when I can’t even afford to pay the credit card company?
Also, I live in the state of Texas, so they can’t garnish my wages. I don’t own anything of value for them to take, and my bank account has no money in it and hasn’t for months. I cash my paychecks at the bank my employer uses.
The problem I have with showing up to court is that they obviously aren’t going to work around my schedule and there’s no way I can take any extra time off of work to go. Otherwise I wouldn’t mind showing up.
I guess nobody is reading the details I add before they post an answer. IN THE STATE OF TEXAS CREDIT CARD COMPANIES CANNOT GARNISH WAGES. Also, from what I understand, being that a credit card is an unsecure loan, they have no rights to any of my assets. The only thing I wanted to know is if I could be taken to jail over not showing up, but it seems that I can’t be put in jail over something like that.

I am making a a cart for my sister’s team, and we would like to put a car stereo in it, but i am not sure how to get power to it, or even what to use to power it. It can’t be plugged in b/c it will be going from car to field and back; however, it is possible for it to be charged when not in use. Also i would like it to be low cost.

Would something like a scooter battery or wheel chair battery work?

I do not have health insurance. I #1 do not get tax breaks if I do buy from someone other than my employer (government rule). #2, I pay full cost for lab work (as required by law. oh wait, the government and insurance companies can negotiate a reduced cost.). I go to a doctor who requires you to bill your own insure, and she doesn’t take government reimbursements. The result, my doctor bill is HALF of what the other doctors charge. I found a lab that now requires cash up front, no billing. Guess what. My lab work is 50-70% LESS than anyone else. Simple things can lower health care costs without tipping the whole apple cart like in Obamacare. Why aren’t other reps plans looked at? Plans like the Arizona senator wouldn’t cost us trillions. We are talking about revamping a system for about 10 million Americans, costing our grandkids kids higher taxes.

OK we all know the horrors of shopping at the begining and ending of the month when people go to shop with their EFT/Food Stamps.

Have you ever noticed what the majority of these people put into their shopping carts? Ice Cream,Soda, Cookies all kinds of snacks and junk foor or easy to cook things like burgers or hot dogs. Then you look at them and you see that they are horribly obese even the kids. Yet the scream we dont give them enough money for food.

I say we give em too much. During the school year they eat for free in school. So their funds she be adjusted for breakfast and lunch. During the summer some major cities still feed them breakfast and lunch.

If we can mandate what they can and cant buy this will put a damper on Type II diebetes. After all if they cant buy crap they cant gain weight and cost us even more money. Pros? Cons? Lets hear em!

Basically you buy a deck and check the "apply griptape" option. Then you go to your shopping cart and delete the griptape (which cost 3.99) and the deck and the "$-3.99 free grip tape" should be still there. You can keep doing this and i have it to about "$-300". So then I bought things that would’ve cost me about 0 and when i checked out It told me the price was . I am tempted to buy all this stuff for only but i won’t. I’m just now skeptical of this website because they have these glitches and should i still buy stuff from this site?

But anyway, like I said, I don’t care how silly it looks. If you’ve tried carrying 4 2-liter bottles of soda and various other things a couple blocks in the heat or cold, you’d understand. I am not sure if I should continue shacking up with the father of my baby and eventually marry him. He costs me money, hes not responsible, he wont work out or eat right. Eating right and exercising are a way of life so you dont end up in a home. I am tired of struggling to get every to get him and his two kids to eat right while me and our kid are a seperate issue. how can we be a family when we dont even have common ground. Does anyone know the cheapest place to play golf in Westchester NY? Most of the courses cost > a round down here. I’m used to playing 9 hole courses for (with a cart). I’m not looking for PGA tour quality courses, just someplace to go out and swing the clubs.

I drive a 1995 Honda Civic 1.6L. When I press the clutch or brake the idle goes down and the cart rumbles and dies. So stopping is a pain. I was told there was a vacuum leak and it might be the power brake booster. We have replaced the booster, master cylindar, and brakes. The mechanic is trying to solve by "process of elimination" and it costing more each time. I dont want to spend 300 to fix the booster if it isnt the problem. Any ideas where this leak could be?

I did get my money back after speaking to the manager the first time; however, after rightfully returning my money, he in turn kicked me out.
Actually, no hissy fit was thrown. Argument only took place when I went back to get the charges back onto my account only because the bank would have taken over a month to investigate into the situation, and that money was set aside to go into a CD, so I had needed it right away. The bank was going to waste time, so I took matters into my own hands.

I did not throw a hissy fit when I was asked to leave. I left my cart as is, and said "Suite yourself."

And the only reason I really want to go back is because normally a cart-full of groceries would run me over 0. It’s the cheapest place in town.
Actually, there is nothing I am leaving out of the story. I showed the manager my statement and he said "Not my problem."
The same thing happened to a friend of mine. She went to taco bell and multiple charges of "" were debited from her account on the same day. It took over 3 months of investigation to have her money returned to her although it is painfully obvious it was a fruadulant charge.
