i have a go cart but no engine so my dads friend gave one to me but before waisting money i was wondering if a 4 cycle engine with 2 hp will be able to move me and i weigh 129 and the go cart ??????

so when it starts it just takes off and the engine dont rev down could the governor be to high

I was wondering if the gear ratio is the same on the engine as it is on the axle ( running with a chain ) How fast do you think it could go with a 4 horsepower engine? Its a standard 4 wheel golf cart and I may cut some plastic off. Could anyone help me out?

I don’t want it to be slow but i also don’t want it to be ridiculously fast.

Im building a 600cc go cart, and would hate to spend 80 bucks on a motorcyle manual just to connect a few wires. Does anyone have, or know anywhere online to find what im looking for? I searched everywhere and only found a 2006 manual, but its nothing like what i have.

i have a engine on my go cart and it is stalling when i take right rurns only when i accelerate on the turns and cant figure out whats wrong. it does not stall when i do left turns. i just need some tips on how to figure this out. thanks

i have a go cart that is a 2 wheel drive (rear wheels) it is built very sturdy and has suspension. i would like to know if it would be possible to put any kind of small dirt bike engine on it (50-150cc) and if so how hard would it be to hook up and mount.

ok i have a lt125 suzuki, ive cut down the frame to just the bottom chassis and the handles bars and w/e to make a go kart, and the orginal engine has the crank case and the pull start in the way if i mounted the engine in the back, thats the only way this will work but icant do it cause ther in the way, what engine have the sprocket out in the open so the chain can go the opposite way its supposed to??? and is ther a way i could make the original work…

I am really wondering how to attach the engine from a lawnmower.I would love a diagram of how to build the accelerator pedal and brakes..If i have to weld then i will..but im not really concered with the body.I am more concerned how to do the engine work..like gears,brakes,etc. with stuff i could find in the hardware store.

i bought a used yamaha G-16 or G-19 golf cart.. its in amazing condition. it goes about 10 mph and i want to know how to make it faster? but still some what safe. what can i do? i would like it to go about 16-18 miles per hour and im willing to buy a new engine.. what engine could do this ? i need a good engine 16 -18 miles per hour on a YAMAHA golf cart G-16 or G-19.. please include a website where i can purchase one.
