They checked me out and said that it looks like I am suffering from post concussion syndrome, and that it just takes time. They did a cat scan on my head and neck and they said it is normal. I was complaining of headaches, and neck pain. Since my headaches have gone away for the most part but my head right above my neck feels like someone hit me in my head like someone whamed me it just hurts (cant explain it any other way.) And my neck throbs, like its tight. My eyes also feel blah (I can see but just achy). My ears also have been like plugged up (which I told the doctor) Should I be worried, I am really concerned about the head.
I do freak out about everything, thats one thing I dont like about myself. Please help!
oh and the colission happened on March 26th, so about 10 days ago. I finally went to the doctor after 8 days (someone finally took me)Thanks

Ok, so I will start off saying I was an idiot, bad parent, lazy or what ever negative thing you can say. I’ve said it all to myself. In a nut shell this is what happened. We went shopping at Kohl’s with both our daughters, One 4 and the other 1. We put the girls in there own cart to shop and I had the 1 year old and buckled her in. We just sat our other daughter in her cart for she will buckle herself in. Well the cart that had our 1 year old, the wheels were not allowing us to turn. 30 Min’s into shopping I was so annoyed I got down to look at the tires to see if anything was jarring, no. So I said lets let the 4 year old walk and put the one year old in her cart. We moved all the items out of the one broken cart into the other. Then put the one year old in the good cart. Here is the "my bad parenting part", this carts buckle was missing one of the halves to buckle it together…….. Yep, I kept her in there thinning we are almost done shopping, we are at the very back of the store in the baby section and I will keep a eagle eye on her…….. One second look away she stood up and fell out face first.
Question: Is Kohl’s liable for medical bill coverage even though I was a dip for keeping her in the cart that was not properly equipped?
Injury report: She is fine but ER Visit is nothing to smile about!
We are not sueing, we fill responsible but at the same time we are hoping for a regulation on these shopping carts to be hourly inspected. Maybe supply an employee to pass out, sanitize, receive and inspect safey of carts as they are being used! Just thoughts. Look up how many children die due to this same type of issue. Stunning number! We fill very fortunate to escape with minor injuries! We will be more aware of our choice of carts in the future! We actually have been viewing shopping carts safty videos and have learned many more safty tips that we never even took in consideration. Thank you for your thoughts! Happy Holidays!
Lol, this is funny how a simple question has turned into an example of people who are showing that they #1 do not read the complete posting #2 do not understand what they are reading #3 come up with silly remarks… lol thanks Ins. Pickle Guy and Mr. Purprick!
Best answer goes to mbrcatz….
We were not planning to sue, we had asked there postion on the situiation and they told us they have to review the video. After that and finding 5 other carts that were not at safty standards, they are offering us to pay for the med bills and are sending a check for 00. So it is, what it is!
The question they asked was if the buckle was in the cart, would we have used it. The footage showed her buckled in the cart that would not turn and showed me grabbing the belt to buckle her in the one missing the buckle. Footage showed us not leaving her unattended. We never asked for payment we only asked there position. We have insurance and where covered!
Remember, Mr.andMrs. WONDERING!

I’m only 17 and I just got my first job at Kmart pushing carts for part time. I was excited to get this job, and I liked it during the training and everything. When I started my first real day, it was okay but I am already starting to hate it. I turn 18 in July, which I will be promoted to something else, most likely cashier. I was hired only two weeks ago and to be honest i’m hating this job already. I can do the job with no problems, greet customers, push carts, help other employees if needed, it’s all simple stuff that’s not hard work but I hate just going in for work. I don’t mind the customers at all, i’m used to them since I worked part time for one of my family members at his business. I really don’t care for most of the employees there, I like a few but most just seem to give others a hard time. Also the bosses/supervisors were nice during training, but lately they are no help to me at all. Any questions I have or any concerns they completely ignore me or any of the other employees.
To be honest I don’t want to go back in which would be monday, i’m seriously considering quitting my job, I only worked two weeks for them and it’s hard for me to go in to work. Another thing is I don’t seem to have the energy or time to do any school work because of my new job which is causing a big trouble. This is my first job and I don’t want to leave on bad terms so I am going to write a letter of resignation and turn it in on Monday and just quit right there and then. I know that giving a 2 week notice is more professional but I have no interest at all in working for them for any longer.
So I would like to have some of your guys opinions on this?
Keep in mind this isn’t really a money kind of thing, it was more of getting a little job experience so I know what to expect for the future. I graduate in late May/Early June and I plan on getting a full time job when I turn 18 in July, not as a cart pusher thats for sure lol.

on this web site that shows how to construct double a arm this is a side note http://www.sadik.net/gokart/ the pic has measurements of the a arms
"when you use dual A-arms, there’s a problem to overcome: when the suspension travels up, the wheels push outwards as the A-arms get closer to horizontal. what you can do to fix this is make the upper A-arm shorter than the lower A-arm. this way, when the suspension travels up, the top A-arm, being shorter, pushes outward at a greater rate, making the top of the tire lean outward. when the tire
leans out, the part of the tire contacting the ground does not move outward." -Eric
can anyone tell me how much smaller the top one should be

The problem says "The engine sprocket of Kyle’s go-cart is 4 cm indiameter. It’s attatched to a 20-cm rear axel sprocket that drives the go-cart." Part a says "Find the angular velocity of the rear axle when the engine is turning 4200 rpm" I understand part a, but part b says "Find the speed of the go-cart in km/hr under the conditions stated in part a if the rear wheels are 35 cm in diameter." Aaaahh, I’m confused. Thanks!
Okay, I’m not asking for somebody else to do it for me, but for somebody to explain it to me. What’s wrong with asking for help?
Thanks to the people who helped, though. Sorry.

The dent is on the driver side of a 2006 Honda Civic EX over the rear tire. Should I report this to my insurance company then get it fixed or just take it stright to a body shop? Looks like it was slightly dented in with a shopping cart while i was at the store, not to bad but noticeable with the smoothness of that part of the car’s body frame. Which was is cheaper or better for me as a owner, car was purchased in July brand new off the lot of this year.

Imagine this: you’re looking at a package of chicken in the meat/poultry section of your local grocery store (or considering ordering the grilled chicken entree on the menu at a local restuarant) and you see a label reading:
This chicken was processed by illegal aliens being paid sub-standard wages and without health benefits in order to bring you, the consumer, the best possible value for your food dollar!
Would you put that package in your shopping cart or order that particular entree from the menu?
Truth be known, and this needs saying, the Koch employees may have been earning sub-standard wages at that Ohio chicken processing plant, but they most certainly were nonetheless enjoying healthcare and many other benefits that millions of Americans do not share in. How is that, you ask?
You provide them!
For, in point of fact, illegal aliens regularly leverage a vast social safety net of taxpayer-subsidized services, from healthcare to education to food stamps to housing to Medicaid (and on and on it goes).
Still skeptical?
Well, then, read the following from American Chronicle:
Illegals can’t live on illegal pay reported without government subsidies.
… illegal immigrants drawn by greed and treasonous wartime profiteering only come here for:
Illegal government handouts (provided without determining legal status, identification, residency or need) for: local health department care, emergency health care, prenatal care, catastrophic disease care, tuition, education, food, subsidized housing, public transportation, Medicaid, WIC, food stamps and numerous other social stipends, provide financial incentive to come to this country.
And square that reality with the fact that poorly educated, unskilled, low-wage, illegal alien laborers performing marginal jobs in this country were nevertheless able to send billion back to their countries of origin in 2006. From whose pockets do you think that kind of money came from, Folks? They sure didn’t get it from cutting up chicken parts for .00 an hour.

I have a 96 pontiac sunfire gt. 2.4 Lt. I have recently had quite a bit of problems with my car. one of the hoses to the transmission broke and all of the transmission fluid leaked out. i replaced two hoses. (the one that was broke and one that looked like it could use being replaced). Before this went down it had always had a check engine light on and when checked, it showed up as a thermostat problem which i kinda ignored until now. So, I changed the thermostat. Now this is what the problem is now. When I drive the car it has a lot of trouble accelerating and idles odd. I somehow got up the courage to take it to an auto parts store down the road. When i finally made it there after a lot of stressful chugging along like a gocart, i had noticed that the thermostat did work. In fact, i guess it worked too well because the temperature guage showed that it was almost in the red even though I had not used any heat or air and it was comfortable outside. When I got the car scanned, it read that the temperature sensor, MAP sensor, the idle sensor, and multiple cylinder misfire. What could be wrong with this car? I replaced the spark plugs and I dont think that the car is running any better. It could just be my imagination but it seems like the engine is making more noise than ever and guzzling gas more. Those two could just be my paranoia. Could these sensors really cause this many problems and if so where are they located and what can I do? Any info will help. Also if anybody has had any problems similar to this what did you do about it? Thank you
(automatic transmission)

Believe it or not, it’s for a painting I’m going to do. I need words that either rhyme with art or have the word art within the word.
Here are the ones I’ve thought of but I’m sure there are more I’ve missed:
SMART
MART
CART
DART
PART
TART
START
WART
HEART
And, of course F ART, which I won’t be using.
Can you guys come up with anything else?
Thank you, and Happy Holidays!
Yowhat, your answer is great but for the canvas it’s got to be one word, not combinations of words. I thank you for the ones you’ve provided.

alright! You guys convinced me to buy another clutch >< (i’ll slap you across the face later). Heres what i’m thinking will be an everyday occurance on this gocart.
1) High Speeds
2) Gas and brake alot
3) Sharp corners and steep hills
4) offroad jumps and mud
my back tire is right at 15 inches (16 or 17 with the trend)
the whole go cart with me weighs around 225 pounds
My engine is 196cc at 6.5hp
my gear ratio is 1:6 (10 on clutch 60 on axle)
my max RPM’s is 3600
would this clutch be suitable?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MINIBIKE-GO-KART-GOCART-PARTS-3-4-CLUTCH-40-41_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem53e030cfa9QQitemZ360243580841QQptZGoQ5fKarts#ht_514wt_913
Also, I have burned out a cheaper clutch before in about 20 minutes on my go kart. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening again? (I just learned you have to oil them, i think that was my problem)
Thanks for your advice!
Drew
