I have a go cart that I kinda customized just a little bit. I fit a Kawasaki 650 ninja motor on the back of it. It has a bulked up front end for accidents and on the bulked up fron it has headlights with highbeams and fog lights, blinkers and on the back I have three brake lights and blinkers and a light that I can throw on when pushing it backwards. I also put a roll cage on it with a racing seat and 3 point racing seatbelt. I have reflectors on each side and a horn. I also put on air shocks on the back and a full suspension on the front with a Arms and shocks and springs so it has some height to it (about 5 inches off the ground). It also has street compound tires with tread. I just recently moved to Illinois (20 mins. out of Chicago) and I want to know if I can make it street legal because it has the lights and height and obviously plenty of power to keep up with traffic. If someone knows how to and how much time it would take and how much money please tell me. Also can I insure it because I have about 00 into it and im sure people will want to steal it. Anything will help! Thanks!

There is a wheel shop and it sells bicycles and go-carts. Each bicycle has only one seat and each go-cart only has one seat. There are a total of 21 seats and 54 wheels in that shop. How many are bicycles and how many are go-carts?
please please help me and explain to me how to get to the answer. thanks

Does anyone know how to build an airsoft tank. It needs to be relatively cheap, and needs to seat at least two people. I have a small go-cart that i could use, but I would have to put shocks on it and get a new engine as it is currently a 5 horse power lawn mower engine and the chain falls off constantly. I am very good with engines and working with metal and wood. Any ideas are welcome.

I don’t think I have ever seen anything like this but, would you buy a fold up grocery cart that seats a child? You would always bring your own cart to go grocery shopping and it would be just like a regular grocery cart with a more comfortable seat for your child but it would be your own from home. Your child and you wouldn’t be exposed to all the germs on the store carts. It would be made of plastic and material that is not heavy but would be durable and easy to open and close.
would you buy something like that or do you think it would be a waste of money and space when you can just wipe down a cart at the store with a disinfecting wipe?
just curious LOL I’m always trying to think of things I could invent.
yea not a good idea I guess, just one of those things that popped in my head LOL
I probably would not have bought one either when my kids were little, my first was twins and I always had to push around two carts when they were babies, would be nice if they invented a grocery cart where two babies can sit in front without being squished (not the ones with the seats for big kids…which actually were not around anyway when my twins were born)

I was in Home Depot and I put my tracfone in the seat of the cart because I had my purse in one hand and a tissue in the other hand while I bent over to read the specs on a lawn mower. When I stood up again, the phone was gone. It’s a Tracfone, so it was free with the minutes, but of course I lose all the minutes. My bad for letting the phone out of my sight for 5 seconds. I called the police but this is not something they want to deal with, and I really wouldn’t expect them to. So anyway, I know the perp can’t listen to voicemail because he doesn’t have the passcode. (That didn’t stop his friend from leaving some stupid message about a dog. Poor dog.) So what should I change my outgoing message to? Bear in mind I do get some business calls on that phone.
P.S.
Right now it says "my phone has been stolen but I am still able to retrieve voicemail. The perpetrator can’t hear you because he doesn’t have the passcode. The police told me he looks real good on the security cameras at the place where he stole this phone from. Anyway, so leave a message, and I’ll post my new cellphone number as soon as it is set up. (I know Tracfone would let me keep the same number, but it doesn’t seem like a good idea!)

Like I really did not need a stroller. I always but the baby car seat in the shopping cart, and when my child was able to sit up I just sat her in the cart. I didn’t go walking, not that I didn’t exercise. I drove every where. so why did I really need it.

about 2 months ago at night some friends and i used some illegal drugs (cannabis) and i was riding on the back of a golf cart (with 4 seats, 2 on the back and they had those railings that go along the sides and the corners and stoped in the middle so you get in and out.) well im riding on the back standing up holding on to the bars. we were all in a different mindset because of the drugs. but we rode up the street a little and hanged u-turn, started down to a circle culdasac which is downhill a little, well were flying down there pretty fast the driver slams on brakes and turns sharp to the right on a dime i fly my left leg hangs over bar with my foot pinned under the seat and i fall over and like hang after my head smacks the asphalt going about 20mph i dont get knocked out, i get to my feet i feel dazed and light-headed no blood or anything but my neck and back of head ache bad. when i get home in the middle of the night i have my mom drive me to the ER i get a cat scan and temp neck brace.doctors said everything is fine til this day my neck hurts but im worried somthing is still wrong .and now i have been going to the chiropractor twice a week since . is there anything the could have overlooked or is there anything else i should be worried about even though it was 2 months ago? please let me know……thanks

This is in response to another question about putting toilet seat covers down for your kids. I proudly put my son in a shopping cart cover, restaurant seat cover and I bring disinfecting wipes with me at all times. I teach him "don’t touch" when we are out in public and many other OCD-type things. I really am shocked at how many parents don’t do these things…lol. My whole family is that way. I know I go overboard a bit but I also know I am not the only one.
Let me clarify… I don’t have a problem with dirt. I have a problem with germs. I live in South Florida where people from all over the world visit year round- more types of germs.
Let me also add that I don’t care about studies of how many germs are where. It feels right to me and I do it- so why does that warrant hostile answers? It was just a simple question!
I forgot to thank all the polite answerers who explained their viewpoints nicely. THANK YOU.
I don’t thumbs down either.

I don’t like the Snap N Go’s and I’ve heard that they are hard to steer and don’t work very well, their also ugly. I also don’t want to spend money on a travel system when I know that as soon as my baby is 6 or 7 months old I’ll be using a small, lightweight umbrella stroller and not the huge full-sized stroller. So my question is, do I really even need a stroller for when he’s still in his infant seat? Where do you use these strollers at? At the store I could put him in the cart.. (of course in his car seat, in the big basket NOT sitting on top which you are not supposed to do.) Thanks!

my husband and I were at our local Wal Mart. My 12 month old was seated with her seat belt on in the shopping cart…just like she has done hundreds of times. The next thing I know she is SCREAMING bloody murder. Somehow she had gotten her right foot, up past her ankle stuck between the bars right by where her legs are supposed to go. Long story short, we finally got someone to bring something to lube up her leg but she ended up with a swollen and bruised ankle. I am just wondering if anyone else had run into a situation like this and what can be done to make Wal Mart redesign their carts.
yeah, we have the metal ones with the bars. our target has plastic ones with a criss cross design which seems MUCH better
KRISTA D- HOW DID THAT HAPPEN??

My son is five months old and since he’s tall and big for his age, it’s getting harder to carry him in his carrier when I go shopping. He can sit up pretty well supported, so I’m sure we can start putting him in a normal car seat soon. However, I’m not sure if he would be able to sit up well in the front seat of a shopping cart. Just wondering at what age can they do this? Thanks
By the way, I’m not asking when my son can use a forward facing car seat. I know that’s when he’s 1 year old. We have a normal car seat that can face backwards like most can.

I was working as a bag boy at grocery store when a mother came up with her cart and her practically newborn child in the seat and unloaded the food, etc. I started to bag the stuff when she unhinged something on the cart seat and clamped the babies fingers between some metal, causing it to bleed a bit and purple. She scolded the BABY and, annoyed, continued to unload the cart while the baby was SCREAMING. As the baby screamed and shook, tears running down his cheeks, everyone continued with what they were doing, maybe glanced at the baby, then went back to their business.
I immediately became infuriated, and literally threw what ever I was bagging to the side and went to the bathroom. I got really hot and dizzy, and then i vomited in the toilet.
Thankfully, I still have my job.
Point is, is this a normal reaction? Sounds a little over the top, but I don’t know..
Just give me your opinion.

I have a 5 month old baby girl, and I want to get a few things for her, but I don’t know where I can find them and how much they are. The first thing is a bumbo seat. Second is a safety first bath tub seat(with suction cups to stick to the tub) and the third is a floppy seat(shopping cart cover). I know I can get them at walmart, well, the floppy and bumbo, but every time I go there, they are sold out of the pink bumbo seat, and the floppy seats at walmart are too bland. I want a pink one for her. Oh, and if you know the prices, that would be great! Thanks to everyone who takes time to answer!

I am going shopping at Kohl’s tomorrow and will be bringing my 9 week old baby. I have never brought my baby with to Kohl’s before and am wondering if his car seat will fit in their shopping carts? I know they’re not the normal kind like at Target and Wal-mart. Has anyone brought their baby in his car seat before and their carts work?

Tonight at the grocery store I had a movie with the rest of the stuff I bought, I put it on the seat of the cart and I didn’t even notice it when I was putting stuff on the conveyor belt at the register. Completely forgot, paid for the rest of my stuff and walked out. I was loading the car and noticed it. An alarm didn’t go off or anything.
Anyone else do something like this?

My baby is 2 months old now so doctor said it’s okay to go in public places. My question is how do you carry your baby while you are shopping in stores? I see some people put the car seat on top of the shopping cart but I am too scared to do that. On the side of my car seat it clearly says not to do that cause the cart can flip over. What other options do I have?

Okay, so I’m a first time mom (33 weeks with #1) and I admit I haven’t done a whole lot of research on strollers and carseats (bad mommy already). I basically relied on my sister-in-law who did all the research a year ago when she was expecting her first and I followed her recommendation and registered for a Travel System that includes the heavy-duty stroller, car seat, and car seat base. Thankfully, I didn’t receive this item yesterday at my shower because I’m having doubts. Another friend who has a 6 month-old was telling me that she just uses a "frame" stroller (that may not actually be the name of it) and pops her car seat right in there, she loves the smaller size and the convenience of what she chose. So now I’m confused and would love advice from mommies who have been here and know what I’m talking about. Which stroller and car seat did you choose? I’m concerned about choosing a car seat that will last for the longest amount of time (the one I chose accomodates up to I think 24 lbs but there are others that go up to 30lbs?) and I also would appreciate a seat that fits into a cart at the grocery store and I don’t think the one I chose does. Any and all advice would be GREATLY appreciated by this overwhelmed, under-researched mommy-to-be who doesn’t have a clue!!!
