Dog Show Rules to Live By

1. Never win too much. Make sure you loose regularly. People "like" losers. It’s much easier too be supportive of the "loser" than it is the "winner".

2. For goodness sake don’t have a good breeding program. If you produce good dogs on a regular basis people will pick apart your breeding and then tell you later "how far you’ve come from when you started". Of course they will forget all the dogs you’ve finished because you couldn’t possibly have a breeding program as good as theirs.

3. Do not have an opinion. Not on anything. Not even the weather. People do not like people who have opinions. Especially if your opinion might be right. If someone asks your opinion ask them what they had for lunch.

4. Always remember that AKC Judges are God. Kiss their butts regularly. Tell them how good they look. Ask them if they’ve lost weight or if they have been on vacation because that tan they are sporting just makes them look so healthy.

5. If you are interested in your National Breed Club join it before anyone knows who you are. And once you join make sure you volunteer to do anything from parking cars to picking up dog poop. Just do it and smile and let the Clubs use you until you think you have nothing left to give and then go volunteer for more.

6. Always support every request for donations. Give these people money until you realize that you’ve reached into your pockets so much that you now have holes in them.

7. Do not ever discuss another dog with another single individual. Not even your mother. People do not like people who can critique a dog and do it in a way that references their breed standard. So do not on penalty of death ever say a word about any other dog. If anyone asks you just smile and tell them that it was the most impressive dog you have ever seen even as it’s limping out of the show ring.

8. Do not make friends. This is the primary rule of survival in the this sport. So keep this one close to you at all times because even the people you believe to be your friends will grab a wet towel and twist it up and snap you on the butt just too keep you in line.

9. Do not even think that you know how to groom your dogs. Do not even dare to advise anyone how to groom a dog. If someone asks lie to them and tell them you just throw them in the bathtub and let them dry off on their own and then just shake your head a lot. Then shrug your shoulders and act like you are a complete imbecile when it comes to grooming. If they comment on how good the dog looks thank them and say you don’t know how it happened and you wished it happened more often.

10. And the primary rule is never tell the truth. Lie as often as you can to anyone who will listen. Tell them exactly what they want to hear so that when they walk away from you they are smiling and telling everyone else how smart you are to realize how smart they are.

11. Never ever ever let anyone think that you have come all the way in this sport on your own. Give everyone else the credit for your success and stand there like you have your thumb up your butt while you blow the hot air up their skirt. No one likes anyone who succeeds on their own so pretend like you owe everybody for your achievements. Heck act like they were in the maternity ward when you were born.

Keep all those rules and then just smile a lot and nod at everyone and you’ll end up being treated like the smartest person in your breed and the village idiot at the same time.

I have just 4 questions if anyone would know the answers to any of them and could tell me how to get that answer it would be great!

1) If you throw a ball horizontally while standing on roller skates, you roll back with a momentum that matches that of the ball. will you roll backward if you go through the motions of throwing the ball but instead hold onto it? explain

2) when vertically falling sand lands in a horizontally moving cart, the cart slows down. ignore any friction between the cart and the tracks. Give 2 reasons why the cart slows down. Give one answer in terms of horizontal force and one in terms of momentum conservation.

3. At what point in its motion is the kinetic energy (KE) of a pendulum bob ( the ball) at a maximum value? at what point is its potential energy(PE) at a maximum value when the bob’s KE is half its maximum value, how much PE does it possess?

4)How much power does a weightlifter expend when lifting a 50kg barbell a vertical distance of 1.2 meters in a time interval of 1.5 seconds?

First they had a monorail accident. A couple of days ago they had a bus crash and people were injured. Yesterday the Go-kart track the cart went straight and hit a kids arm because he had it out. OK, so, lately I have been having a dream about a haunted house, right? And It’s me, my brother and my grandmother there usually. BUT It is like an amusement ride, there are tracks, and carts that go all over the place, and every time I dream about it, something new happens. Its never the exact same thing, but we are always there in the old ride/haunted house.

Last night, I dreampt Me, my brother and grandmother were there again, and, its hard for me to remember everything, but here it goes:
My brother and I were just playing on the carts (that looked like mining carts) going up and down the tracks by pushing the cart, laughing at the animatronics and holograms of ghosts and monsters. There is one part, where if you get to the top, and go fast enough down, you might fall off. and there was water right next to that one part… Well, a couple of times I almost fell off and in, but I always saved my self. After that, we went back to… somewhere, I don’t know, wherever we "hung out" and it was suddenly looking like the hallway in my school, like, if you turn around you could see the old beat up tracks, and then BOOM perfect school. My english teacher was there, and I informed her that I finished the book she gave me to read ("the mediator" series by Meg Tabot[its about a girl who can see ghosts]) and she smiled and kept going on towards her class, and that was the last of her. Well, then, I went to go back to ride the carts, and a claymation of "MacBeth" had put me on one already and was evilly laughing when he pushed the cart (We watched a play of MacBeth yesterday, awesome btw…) and, when we got to the top, it was me and my brother again…So, on our way down, we were going really fast, and I fell off into the water, but I held on with one hand and pulled d myself up no problem. This happened 2 times. The second time my grandmother was also on a cart, and after I fell in, she stopped and waited for me. She was leaning against a wall, one that was already broken, and it broke again, and she fell through, only, she fell down into a chamber or something, and something down there started laughing evilly after wards. Then, BAM I woke up.

I tried to fall back asleep to see what happened to her, but, nope.

Do you think it has anything to do with the books my english teacher gave me? (The Mediator" by Meg Tabot-a girl who can see ghosts) and the play MacBeth we watched? BUT I have been having dreams of the same place for a week or two now…

PLEASE HELP ME! The first time it was all scary, but after that, it was only when something new happened. like we were used to the haunted crap, but, what is going on?!\

I just went go-kart riding with kids in a semi-open track (open on one end). I am 6 weeks pregnant and it didn’t really occur to me until too late that the fumes might not be good for my baby. (I haven’t told anyone I was prego yet, btw). Please tell me that 5-10 minutes of exposure is ok!!

Suppose a roller coaster cart is resting on the starting point of a track at a height h. Then the cart slides down the track, and enters a circular loop with a radius 3m.

If the cart can successfully go around the loop without falling down at the top of the loop, at what height h must the cart start at? Friction, air resistance are negligible.

I think you can obtain the height from the conservation of energy, but how do you determine the speed it enters the loop etc?

Minecraft is this computer game where you have to build a house and get materials to build like mine cart track. I got it to explore. But you can fight zombies and creepers and skeletons and giant spiders. I have a long mine cart track in Minecraft. It leads to different areas in the map so it might go straight to one part of the map then go to the right. I placed a switch right next to track where I want the track to turn but it is hard to flick the switch in a cart. How do a make a redstone circuit that will be long enough to do this?

Is there any other way to make the carts go, besides making it like a roller coaster?
