I just created a website where I will be offering a wide variety of items. I want to know how I can add the "add to cart" option and then the "pay" option. Please be specific in explaining as I am very new to this. I have a paypal account so obviously I would want it set up so that an purchases made would go straight to my paypal account. Thank you. I am trying to find some kind of category or place where I can click and find the textbooks section of the bookstore. Search engine does not work, and the only categories available are merchandise categories. I would like to know what i’m buying before i actually go to the bookstore, or maybe even get the books shipped to me. You can add items to a shopping cart, so obviously you must be able to ship them. Can anyone help me with this website?

i used frontpage2003 to design the site. i have godaddy as a host, and i’m not sure their shopping cart is a good way to go. does anyone out there have experience with a custom website that sells fine art photographs?

ok so me and my friend are making a website and we need a shopping cart. we are using paypal. when we put the link onto the website, it works great, but it goes to the paypal webpage and we want it to go to our shopping cart page. please help1!! thanks! =]

I noticed this afternoon that 2 .nl sites direct to my company’s website. My website’s fine, as well as the secure link off of it to the shopping cart side of it; however, it’s wierd (and frankly scares me a bit) that 2 random websites point directly to my site. What could’ve caused this? And of course, I have no way of contacting whoever maintains these sites, since, well, they essentially go to my site.

I am looking to build a downloaded music site for our company. We want customer to go to the website, choose the CD they want, then be able to add it to cart. When they checkout and verify there info, it will email them a link that allows them to download the album they choose.

The questions is, what is everything I need to make this happen? Also, how would I protect myself against fraud because I know many will try? Will I need a external hard drive to store our music and it extracts from it when a customer purchase the album?

I’ve seen several shopping carts for online businesses such as zent cart, paypal, etc. I don’t know how best to choose one for a website I’m going to have developed in the near future for a small online business i’m seeking to launch.

1. Which shopping cart is best for a new online small business from home? Recommendations and why?
2. What is the difference in these carts that allow customers to pay online?
3. Do these shopping vehicles have different fees associated with each?
4. Any other helpful information on this that I should be aware of/look into?

I put the necessary files on my server, created the necessary tables in mysql.

Whats preventing me from going forward is this: How/where do I go to start uploading images so that they’ll link to the code? Do I need to login to some admin section? If so how do I do this? Thank you soo much.

You’re looking at a page, and you wanted ITEM A, so you decided to put ITEM A into CART (Using Paypal Add to cart button)

However, every single time you click the "add to cart" button, it’ll direct you to Paypal’s own "view cart" website to see the quantity/price of ITEM A. Then, you would have to click "continue shopping" (from paypal site) to go back into THE WEBSITE you ADD ITEM A.

What I want to know is:

How to Embed "view cart" (from paypal’s site) within my own website, so I can continue shopping (without being redirected back from paypal’s site) ?

Need Hosting company, also need to find a shopping cart program for my new website that is being build with Dreamweaver cs3. Help!! Something that’s easy to learn. Right now am using PayPal, the problem with this program, is that you have to go into their program and get a code and then go into your builder site and chang that code whenever you change out your pictures, this is somewhat stressful.

What are the limitations as far as content and activities go for a website with a .us domain? I wanted to purchase a .com domain name but someone else grabbed and parked and wants 00 for it. The same domain name is available with a .us extension, but I don’t know the what is or isn’t allowed. I want to run a couple test sites, possibly do a blog and shopping cart later down the road.
