I am disabled & when I go to the grocery store I use one of the available battery operated scooter’s, people will walk in front of me, stand that talking to their friend or if they see me trying to reach something up high will grab the same item next to it & walk away. There are very few people that are nice enough to be kind & helpful.

To "John S" Your 22 years old & have no idea or understanding what an older, disabled person is going through. Yes, I see perfectly able "walking" people use the scooters that are just big fat people that are too fat & lazy to walk. Sometimes the scooters are all being used by idiots that don’t need them. I come into a store with a walker & do not have the ability to walk through a huge grocery store without the use of a scooter. I do not run people or kids down ! You were probably the guy that took the last handicapped parking space too WITHOUT a permit ! I feel so sorry for your wife & yes, she has the right to be pissed at you, your an idiot !

ive watched speed alot and its so cool to see people win but im 13 girl and i want to start go cart racing so dont tell meh to get seasons pass to the go cart track cause im going to try that and get into clubs then later buy a go cart cause yah but from that stage should i have to get used to the track for some years? also im in calgary so are there any clubs where you can rent them and learn to drive?

I have a shopping cart cover, but I’m wondering if i could use it to cover the highchair when we go out as well.

I would like to know if we can hook up a generator to a golfcart, or even a electric car and power it to drive. What I mean is start the gen, plug in the car(t) and away we go. I wanted to know if it can be done and if so what size gen can one use. I know that there are some inverters/transformers that will act as a UPS and have dips that can be set to do so, but what size gen would be needed to run it. If I can use a cart to go to the store, and there are no (in-put) electrical outlets to charge up can I use a gen to get me down the road when the batteris a flat?

I think gasline would go down if we all just used it for getting to work, going to the hospital and other basic necessities. We surely consume a large percentage on silly recreational use- boats, races, go carts etc. I posted this idea one other time and a woman wrote back " boating is not silly recreation..its relaxing"…I think we are doomed….

Last time I asked this lots of people said that they never used carts, and so I tried it, and I will never do that again. Even though he was being ‘good’ he still had to ‘show’ me everything; which meant he was touching items on the shelf. And when he promised not to touch the peanut butter, he then promptly went over to ‘show’ me jelly (for instance). It was a disaster. He is now condemned to the cart indefinitely.
