Over the past summer me and my freinds gathered up some steel pipes, and welded out our own go cart. Everything is done,(we put the axles on, we have tires and rims, we even put some 0.00 ELKA shocks in it, and also have a leather seat, gas gauge, and speedometer.) but we bought an engine and installed it but the engine is a Yamaha Raptor 350cc, is that to big of an engine???
As long as the rest of the cart is safe and can handle it it should be fine. The way I see it, the more power the better.
Just be sure to keep it safe. Proper gear, I’m not sure if it’s a road or off road go cart but a roll cage would probably be a good idea if you don’t have one already.
