I have a 1994 Ez Go gas golf cart that we just bought. While you are driving it will die. You can let off the gas completely and press the pedal back down and will start and go again. It runs fine other than this. What could be causing this? And how do i fix it?

Given the symptoms you’ve described, I’d say that you have a fuel problem, most likely a dirty fuel filter or water in the fuel.

it’s a gas engined vehicle, it could be a lot of things.
if you don’t have any mechanical abilities, as you suggest by needing to ask, then I would suggest taking it to a small engine mechanic (lawn mower repair) and have them take a look at it and pay for needed repairs.

It could be that the gas tank is not vented, or, it needs some carb work, or just a tune up.

If you can’t diagnose the problem, what makes you think you can fix it? TAKE IT TO THE SHOP.

    tune up asap
