Go cart HELP PLEASEEE LOOK?
my go cart "pauses" at speed, so like ill be going, rite and like it will just stop or pause and drop down to 0 mph. then it wont pick back ...
my go cart "pauses" at speed, so like ill be going, rite and like it will just stop or pause and drop down to 0 mph. then it wont pick back up until like like i take my foot off the pedal and let it rest for 5 sec or so, please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
if there is an air cleaner on the go cart you should check it and probably clean it. If not check the air intake area for dirt build up.
it depends if it is electic or gas.
if it is gas i would check the gas intake, if it is electric i would check the battery and the connection between the battery and the motor
easier to diag if we know eng maker ,hp,shaft config,#cylinders
Check for little bubbles of water in the gas tank or check your air filter. This problem indicates not enough air or not enough gas.
Try cleaning the carbeurator.
Its starving for fuel. Check for choked fuel lines, plugged tank discharge pipe, contaminated fuel filter, water in the carb fuel bowl, improper float setting or damaged float in carb., or restriction in carb inlet/needle valve seat.
intermitent stopping is mainly due to weak ignition system or feul choke , may be rectified by a well versed mechanic if you find it difficult
