For those who don’t know what coscto is: It is a huge warehouse where they sell things in bulk, at wholesale… The aisles are 20 or 40 feet high, the shopping carts are double the size of a grocery store, unless people are using carts which are 4 times as big. Forklifts going up and down the aisles (I believe Sam’s Club is similiar)
Anyway, I go there with my mom (she has a membership) and if I so much as leave the side of her shopping cart, people cart right into me! I’ll wait patiently to cross the aisle, and no one will slow down enough for me to dart through the river of huge shopping carts. if i am standing near a sample table (where they give out samples of a food they are selling) people actually hit me with their shopping carts trying to get to the food.
if i don’t have a shopping cart, am i not a person??
Anyway long question short: does anyone else notice this?
No, that’s never happened to me anywhere. I have never been hit with a shopping cart. But I know what you mean about people crowding around the free food; you’d think they’re starving ethopians or something. It’s really absurd.
You should speak up next time. Sometimes people do things to certain people because they know they can. Don’t let yourself be that person people can push around. I’m not saying you should start a brawl, but just say "OWW!" or something really loud so everyone can hear you. I don’t know where you live, but I can’t believe anyone would be that rude. People don’t do that here.
Can you get busted for a DUI pushing a shopping cart?
ive been to costco, and IT SUCKS!! i hate costco. but being a guy I have personally never gotten hit by a shopping cart, maybe because im a guy and not a normal guy and people can pick up on that or something, but ive never been hit. id say the only solution is to not go there anymore, costco sucks anyways, as i said.
well i say you should grab a cart and join in the awesome game of bumper carts! sonds tempting doesnt it! they probably just think that you will dive out of there way…dont do it if they push then push emback twice as hard

sounds like you are looking for things to complain about. Stay with your mama and the shopping cart. Too many kids wandering loose int he store anyway.
At Christmas time I had some dumb broad one run of their carts into my car while I was sitting at a stop sign in the parking lot at CostCo. I locked up my brakes and got out of the car and made a big scene, I mean, come on, she was on the cell phone too……GOD I wished I was a woman that day…..SLAP!
I was at Costco two months ago, but I didn’t get hit by anybody.We didn’t use a shopping cart at all! I know certain aisles can get suddenly get crowded making it impossible to maneuver the cart without hitting someone. Sorry it happened. Just be careful.
I am a wheelchair user and I get plowed into by shopping carts, kids wearing those stupid ‘wheelie’ shoes, people walking and looking in a different direction etc.,all the time. I once was sat on by a 500 pound man who was walking backwards! Rarely do they apologize. Usually I get a dirty look for ‘being in the way’. I don’t know what is wrong with people. It seems like they are out for blood.
