How can i build a self-propelled go cart that will travel 2 meters? (model car). for my science class I have a go-cart due tommorow and i have the wheels, and the sticks..it has to travel 2 meters and it cannot be pushed. I know you could use rubber bands or mouse traps, any link that could help? thanks!

    self propelled within 24 hrs……have a small steam engine? hook up the axle to the flywheel.

    Okay, wood block, 4 wheels, properly aligned, on the corners, I suggest straight axles, front and rear, something like a Pringles can fastened to the top with a balloon inside.

    Simple reaction engine, should work.

    A twisted rubber band as the energy storage device to
    drive the wheel is probably the simplest solution.
