I live in Philly. I want to find a way to make my tool chest roll again. The chest is fairly new that’s why I want to design a cart or something to go under it. I don’t know how to weld so I’ll have to take it somewhere. Any idea of a design and how much it would cost with materials and labor?

I would go to a Home store..like Menard’s..they sell short lengths of metal & aluminum angle stock.
I like the aluminum, because it is strong, light, & easy to drill or saw. Make a rectangular frame, big enough for your tool chest to sit in..While at the store, you can find casters in most every size..Find some that bolt on with 4 small bolts each..drill the holes needed in the corners of the frame (use the same bolts to hold the casters, and frame together. & you are all set..I would suggest using 2′ aluminum stock. I had to do this one time..Mrs..drove into the garage too far…

If the dimensions are not quite right, it’s wood, take it apart and saw the pieces or make new ones.
