How do you remove an electric motor from an E-Z-Go golf cart?

Something is wrong in my motor and i have taken off the body, seats, roof, etc. to get to the motor but i cannot figure out how to take it off the axl...

Something is wrong in my motor and i have taken off the body, seats, roof, etc. to get to the motor but i cannot figure out how to take it off the axle. We have taken out all the screws but it wont move. Can you please help?

   Smack it with a dead blow hammer. It is stuck.
