I am making a go cart.. I bought a clutch.. mounted it.. but Do I need anything else or can I just mount it and put the chain on it.. turn the motor on.. and when I push the gas it will go vis versa?

   That’s the idea. It is a centrifugal clutch. The faster the engine revs, the more contack you have to transmit power fromn the engine to the wheels. Sort of half-way between a car automatic and standard transmission.
