It has a very small gas engine on it. The small cart goes about 15 MPH. Throttle and brakes are mounted on the steering wheel. I was given 4 of the carts that someone wanted to get rid of. They are supposed to be about 3 or 4 years old. I cannot find a serial or model number any where on the cart. I’m looking for information on how to order the little transmissions for the cart, I need at least 2 of them. The motors on them run excellent, but the clutches slip on 2 of them. That’s really all of the information I have on them other than the little engines on them are 4 stroke, and I can’t read or make out who made the engines.
There are a few shops selling them still new on the internet. Google for "Hot Wheels Gas Powered Go-Kart" and you should be able to find them. Maybe if you ask nicely they will at least tell you the manufacturer, or a supplier for the parts. It sounds like they were sold through Costco or Sams a couple years ago.
You could also check with a local small engine repair shop and/or motorcycle repair shop and see if they could help you locate parts for them.
