If it has a governer, you open it up some to allow faster speeds. If it isn’t your golf cart, you can sometimes use a scoring pencil, depending on the type of governer.
you may be able to pop off the back of the golf cart and fool around with the (i cant remember what it is called) in the back of the golf cart, there may be a switch under the cart that only allows it to go so fast. and i know this only because i work at a golf course and have tried and it works.
Most gasoline powered golf carts have a govenor which you can adjust to allow faster speed. Not sure about the electric ones. If all else fails, different gearing would do the job, but higher top speed would mean less power to get going with.
probably
Bigger battery.
