My lil sis went to teh beach and rode gocarts but they didn’t tell her she was spooing gasoline all over so it is all over in her hair and she has washed it 6 times but still not out. Trying to sleep but it is too strong how can she get rid of the smell?

Hmm. How about a liquid paste of baking soda, leave on for a few minutes, then rinse and shampoo again. That must have been some strong gasoline, usually just washing gets the smell like that out (I know, I spilled gasoline on my hands this afternoon – two hand washes and it was gone).

    A vinegar rinse should help.

    Yikes. Eww.
Maybe a stronger smelling shampoo? Spraying hairspray or perfume on it? More vigorant washes?

gas is nasty stuff, I’ve had the hardest time getting the smell off my skin. All I can suggest it wait it out and try using some shampoo and condtioner that has a really strong fragrance.

I think that you should probably go see your family docter and make go to a skin docter to make sure her scalp is okay.

Take a 1/2 cup of Olive Oil, lightly warm it up for a few sec. in the microwave and mix it with an whole egg. Soak it for atleast 1/2 hr and wash it off with water and then use a nice smelling conditioner like herbal essence. This should get rid of the smell and the dryness of the hair after such repeated washing.

Wash her hair with dish soap, and then again with shampoo.

Sounds strange, but regular dish soap and warm water will cut grease and oil!

washin it a lot, but not more that two time per day because her hair may start to fall out.

if she has long hair maybe a haircut, then there will be less hair and less smell.

maybe if you go to a hair salon they will recoment something, maybe a hair bleach and then some color to it may do the trick.

be patient and don’t wash it too much it’s useless
just be patient and the smell will disappear by it selves
