I have to do my silver award, I came up with this:
Building my own bookshelf/one with extra storage, putting it on wheels, then collecting used (but in good condition) books, movies, and games to put on it (to get these items i could make posters, contact the writer of the Messenger news letter for our town to put an ad in the newsletter)
after that i will donate it to a hospital near my town that is a hospital/rehab center for children that can’t really get out of bed that much, the book shelf/ storage cart with games/movies on wheels could move from room to room so kids who can’t go get a book, but want to find one for themselves would be able to do so.
Please tell me if this is a good idea

Any ways i could make this idea better would be appreciated
(yes i feel strongly about this because i was in a children’s hospital myself with nothing to do, and couldn’t really get up)
It’s a great idea, but first, call your local hospital to make sure they will accept these books and the cart you build. Make sure it’s something they really want to have and will use.

I would just make sure to make it high enough for them to see into it from their beds, because they ARE a bit higher than normal beds, and it would be hard to reach out and down out of bed if your kind of immobile!
Keep it up with girl scouts… I didn’t because of leaders I had and stuff, but sometimes I wish I would’ve stayed in it.
