Okay – the surf and the sand is GREAT – but my kids also want to be able to do something else (go-cart, mini-golf, aquarium, etc. whatever, they aren’t too jaded, and amusement rides are NOT necissary).

We are tired of MD/VA beaches, and would like to try the slower pace of NC, but still have access to stuff "to do".

Anyone have any input in which beach I should be focusing my attention on?
