    Watch for the side with no paint, it would go against the engine and painted side out :)

    If I remember right, it has a piece of wire which goes around the bowl to tighten it up to the bottom of the carburetor, right? No, there is no particular position you have to put it in, except the crease in the bowl should fit the wire bracket holding it on. It’s been a lot of years since I worked on a Tecomseh, I’m not sure if I’m remembering correctly.

    Most Tecumseh bowls have a flat area with a little bump on the inside. The bump goes under the part of the float that drops down. This keeps the float from dropping too far and sticking.
