okay i have a gocart that has a snowmobile clutch on it, thats what i think its called the weel spins and once it hits a certain speed it grabs the belt and turns a wheel witch moves trhe chain, i was wondering what i need to buy to replace that belt and do a straight chain to the axel sprocket someone told me about something called an idler sprocket or sumtin like that, what do i need to buy?

    It's called a centrifugal clutch… If you disable it, your gocart will not idle, it will stall when you come to a stop and the only way you can start it is by pushing it. There are adjustments in the clutch or you may have to replace the belt if it is slipping, but once you hit a certain RPM it should lock up just like a direct drive.
