OK, so, lately I have been having a dream about a haunted house, right? And It’s me, my brother and my grandmother there usually. BUT It is like an amusement ride, there are tracks, and carts that go all over the place, and every time I dream about it, something new happens. Its never the exact same thing, but we are always there in the old ride/haunted house.

Last night, I dreampt Me, my brother and grandmother were there again, and, its hard for me to remember everything, but here it goes:
My brother and I were just playing on the carts (that looked like mining carts) going up and down the tracks by pushing the cart, laughing at the animatronics and holograms of ghosts and monsters. There is one part, where if you get to the top, and go fast enough down, you might fall off. and there was water right next to that one part… Well, a couple of times I almost fell off and in, but I always saved my self. After that, we went back to… somewhere, I don’t know, wherever we "hung out" and it was suddenly looking like the hallway in my school, like, if you turn around you could see the old beat up tracks, and then BOOM perfect school. My english teacher was there, and I informed her that I finished the book she gave me to read ("the mediator" series by Meg Tabot[its about a girl who can see ghosts]) and she smiled and kept going on towards her class, and that was the last of her. Well, then, I went to go back to ride the carts, and a claymation of "MacBeth" had put me on one already and was evilly laughing when he pushed the cart (We watched a play of MacBeth yesterday, awesome btw…) and, when we got to the top, it was me and my brother again…So, on our way down, we were going really fast, and I fell off into the water, but I held on with one hand and pulled d myself up no problem. This happened 2 times. The second time my grandmother was also on a cart, and after I fell in, she stopped and waited for me. She was leaning against a wall, one that was already broken, and it broke again, and she fell through, only, she fell down into a chamber or something, and something down there started laughing evilly after wards. Then, BAM I woke up.

I tried to fall back asleep to see what happened to her, but, nope.

Do you think it has anything to do with the books my english teacher gave me? (The Mediator" by Meg Tabot-a girl who can see ghosts) and the play MacBeth we watched? BUT I have been having dreams of the same place for a week or two now…

PLEASE HELP ME! The first time it was all scary, but after that, it was only when something new happened. like we were used to the haunted crap, but, what is going on?!\

I own a go-kart that had a 6 hp engine, but i swapped it out for a 8.25 hp briggs & straton. The cart accelerates very quickly, but after a few seconds it goes alot slower than what i think it should. If i tampered with the governor to make it top out at a faster speed, what kinds of effects will this do? My object is to get this thing going as fast as the engine will let it. If its safe for the engine, where can i find directions to do it?

Every single time I go to the supermarket I’m faced with a situation like this and I’m wondering what anyone else here would do. What would you do if you had just entered an aisle and were minding your own business and a woman with her kids at the other end of that aisle sees you, goes all the way to where you are, leaves her cart there and then walks back to where she was? Not only that but there’s a freaking kid inside of the cart and another one playing on the side?

Where I work is a huge department store, and you have no idea how many female customers I get, of which either have a crying baby in their cart, or are buying pregnancy tests and diapers. You have no idea how rude some of them are to me when going through my till. It seems they all know each other, since many of them seem to always be in a single lineup. I’m 17.

Just to anyone here on Y!A who is a young mother, I am absolutely in no way trying to offend you. Everyone chooses to start a family at a different time, maybe I’m just not one who believes in starting a family that early for right now.

But the thing is, I don’t even know them. Is it because (not to be rude) they miss being young and carefree without maybe the stress of having to look after one small child after another?

Or is it because when someone’s pregnant, their hormone’s rage more than if they were to still have their normal monthly cycle?

What do you think of my rambling, am I the only teenage girl who finds this to be?

I need something for me and my boyfriend to do. We have been to adventure landing, the beach, movies, out to dinner, mini golf, laser tag, go-cart riding, beach at night, and mall. What else can we do that is fun? We haven’t done anything in a while. I don’t want it to be too expensive though.

I’ve always wanted to teach my horse to pull a small cart but I don’t know if he’s to old or how to go about starting it. he’s a 16 year old appendix Qh in good condition. I’m wondering how long it usually takes to teach a horse to pull a small cart, and If I should just start out and buy a cart or if there is some way I could rent one? I do have someone who drives horses at my barn and she offered to help train my horse. how much does it cost to buy a cheap harness for a 16hh QH? if anyone knows any good website or anything any info would be great
One other thing, Will this mess up his under saddle training? I still want to continue eventing my gelding, but i think It would be fun to be able to drive him every once and a while

My go kart has a little 4HP B&S engine on it. its really old too. and I cant get it to start or stay running. i have good spark, and fresh fuel. new spark plug and new throttle cable. I cant start it unless I saturate the carburetor with starter fluid and prop the rear wheels up and put it at full throttle. the clutch works on it, but I cant start the engine unless it is at full throttle. 3 out of 10 times it will stay running. and when it does run it is really really rough. itll sound like a loud lawnmower for a few seconds and then a loud pop or two over and over. when i get it running i can back the throttle down a tiny bit at a time until the clutch disengages and i can set the cart down. When I go to sit on it, if the engine stays running, the engine will die as soon as I give it gas. It will move a tiny bit then just die. what could be my problem?

I was at walmart when these little kids were horsing around and running and the mother was oblivious. Anyway one of the boys(about fell against my cart and it hit my belly. It really hurt, I wanted to yell at them but I very carefully asked him to settle down. His mom finally noticed the chld talking to me and asked what was going on. So I told her, and she had her son say he was sorry. I then told her I was expecting(as I was not showing) and then after that she seemed more concerned. After that the kids started up again. Some children are awful. Whats up with that? What would you have done in this situation?

this is my FIRST offense
i have straight A’s in school (i don’t know how that might help =[)
i also wouldn’t sell out my friend … so i took all the blame .. regardless, i pushed the cart out (sigh)
the penalty code is 459…. which makes it a felony :/

i was just wondering to what to expect as my consequence .. i go to court in approx 2 months (September) .. by then i’ll be even closer to 18 . are they going to wait until im 18 so they can throw me in jail? i don’t know how the whole jail thing works .

i am looking to teach my horse to pull a cart. nothing big, just so i can say he knows how and maybe in the future, go furthur with it.

so i am looking at this VERY cheap cart i found. it is like a harness racing type where the seat is small and for 1 person and they have leg rests up in the courners of it. do you think this would be a good idea to get? i have been ground driving him and stuff, so please don’t say i need to train him first. i just would like to know if i shoudl get it because it is only 80$ at the moment in an auction. i will work more on his training, but i just don’t know ANYTHING on this stuff, althogh i do know someone who can give me lessons on it.

so do you think i should get it? i would like a more fancy one, but they are expensive and if i just put in a better seat, it would be perfect. and it is VERY light weight which is what i want.

my horse does not spook and he is very gentle! like i said, i would get him used to it! i just would like to know if it would be a good idea to get. i WILL make walls and make a better seat on it if i get it.

Suppose a roller coaster cart is resting on the starting point of a track at a height h. Then the cart slides down the track, and enters a circular loop with a radius 3m.

If the cart can successfully go around the loop without falling down at the top of the loop, at what height h must the cart start at? Friction, air resistance are negligible.

I think you can obtain the height from the conservation of energy, but how do you determine the speed it enters the loop etc?

im going to make my own cart cover for my daughter for when we go out shopping. what kind of cotton or stuff do you put in it so the seat is fluffy?? where would you be able to get that stuff??

I have extremely wacky dreams, and I tend to remember all of them. As it turns out, not everyone can remember their dreams. Well, here is an example of a dream I had a few years ago:

I was looking at the main menu for a video game, and when I clicked "Play", I was IN the game with a bunch of other people my age I had never seen before. Apparently, we were looking for this villain that looked kind of like a genie, was dark blue, and could freeze anything. So me and these people were walking up this hill, when a helicopter flew overhead. It started to touch down on the ground – almost right on top of me. I fell over facedown, and then the pilot of the helicopter spoke to me through some microphone. He said, "He’s gone." (I assume he was talking about this villain.) And then it just flew away. So me and these people went to a supermarket, where the shopping carts could only be moved by pedaling on a bicycle. In the dream, I didn’t know how to ride a bike, so I had to sit on this bench attached to the cart while my apparent friends pedaled. This old man came over and said he didn’t know how to ride a bike, and asked if he could ride with us. We agreed. Suddenly, my dream cut right to us at the cashier, and whenever we rang up our items, they came up at the incorrect price, and the cashier for some reason got mad at us. And then, the store manager screamed, "Everyone out!" and we all ran out of the supermarket and hid underneath cars in the parking lot. The manager said, "We’re going in!" and took his 9 year old son into the supermarket. Suddenly the lights went out and he yelled, "Shut up!" Then the lights came back on and he and his son walked back out. "It’s okay everyone!" he yelled. After we left, the supermarket kind of just froze in place, and this villain came out of the storage room and sort of floated over to the cashier, who was frozen and staring ahead like this: O_O The villain went, "What did you see?" and she said in this kind of robot voice, "I saw a girl and a grandpa, who’s items came up at the wrong price." The villain then let out a sinister growl, then I woke up.

What is with all this? I’ve had other dreams that include Obama running away from the US, heaven, and my aunt and Mom crashing into a chapel in a mini van. I love to write, so I have a cool imagination, but this just sounds insane! Is there some reason that I’m having such obscure dreams?
