I have an electric golf cart, the kids were playing and depressed both brake and accelerator at same time, this power caused the battery cables to melt, I changed the cables but the cart will not go, it has power lights and radio works any ideas? Thanks

I’ve had this electric golf cart for 4 years now. This spring I went to the campground to pull it out of my shed. The batteries were low charged as expected. Even when its low charged, it always would move every spring. This time we had to push it. I plugged it in for a few days and when I went back it had fully charged up. I thought great!! I went to move it but it still didn’t move. The motor seems to be fine and sounds like its working but the cart wheels aren’t moving. All it does is shake like it wants to move. Any suggestions on where to look for the problem would be great. Since I live in a rural area, I have to fix it myself. Thanks !!
The parking brake was not on for the winter. It was in neutral with wood blocks put behind the wheels.

My electric golf cart is hard to shift. The shifter is located under the seat. Right for forward and left for reverse. I lubed all the connections and it’s still difficult. I’m thinking there may be a bushing that went south.

I need 2 answers or 1 that fits which is the cheapest and which company is the best quality. Please help I need to know because i really want to get one. I am interesting in buying a 48v electric golf cart, but I have a hill right next to my house that I would be going up frequently. It is a pretty steep hill, I would say it is about a 45 degree angle going up.

with out buying other parts, when i drive down hill something kicks in and slows it down how can i remove this?
