When getting off the interstate, I hear an awful noise that seemed to come from the front right side of my car. After that there was a high pitch sound when giving my car gas (like a go-cart). I soon found out after parking my car would not go in reverse, but still drove forward. It seems like the gears were slipping too while changing. I had just drove it from St. Louis to Santa Cruz, Ca and it was fine the entire way. It now has 244000 miles on it but has been running great until now. Also, the transmission fluid is a dark brown. Are these all indicators of the need for a new transmission? If so, what’s the cost for this?

Well i just got a mig welder and i was interested in making a go cart, Well i dont have the money to go buy a Vertical shaft engine, so what i was thinking is, Take the motor, and transmission off a lawn mower and put a chain and sprocket system instead of belts and pulleys. and make the frame and stuff and just put the engine directly behind the seat then run a short train directly to the tranny and have the tranny right behind the engine. then just lock the spider gears and extend the shifter. what do yall think?

i dont think so
i own an Xbox 360 and i own
Gears of war 2
call of duy world at war
call of duty 4
guitar hero ( that might be for wii )
saint row 1
so yeah Xbox 360 has tons of M games that involve gore, cussing, violence oh did i mention some games have gore Gears of war 2 has a chainsaw where you can chainsaw the enemy to peices and blood comes gushing out on the camera if you have alot of chainsawed enemy you’l have a pile of limbs. the Xbox 360 has a good Xbox live and the graphics are AMAZING1! so yeah in my mind Xbox 360 OWNS Wii and PS3.
i will explain why for wii in my mind I HAVE PLAYED THE WII im not ignorant well not totally ignorant but from what ive seen is that the page that turns on when their is no game inside the Wii is colorful, oddly shaped and looks like what a 5 year old would want, wii exercise how is that exercise your just moving your arms basicly i dont count that exercise if i want exercise il go to a gym or run outside. alot of the games ive seen are mario and stuff like that which is for all ages but is suitable for young kids. i know of a coupe M games but not much. the Xbox has more M games alot of shooter games, and alot of the shooter games are complicated to finish you may have impossible deeds you have to do and yeah.
i define hard core games as a person who can solve near to impossible feats on complex shooter games or any complex games not who can win mario cart racing. the graphics are awesome on 360 while the Wii doesnt have enough power to have jaw dropping ghrapics.
if im missing information PLEASE tell me but that is what i know. and i might have more respect for the Wii.

In the first Gears game there was a part where you have to ride these carts and you about to go into a furnace and everything but it is soooo slow on the game so what if they made a fast roller coaster based on that one part it would be amazing. Since there is universal studios and disney land i think they need a video game amusement park

I just had my alternator replaced for my nissan sentra spec-v 2003. Before that the car service engine light has been on. Today we drove to eat out. The first thing I notice was that the lights in the dash where dimmer than usual. It was night time. On the drive back through the darkest part of the drive I stop at a stop sign. As soon as I step on the gas the car started misbehaving. Pretty much it did not want to go above 20 mph. It did not matter if I floored it or even if I change gears. If I put it in neutral and rev it it reved just fine but would not go above 20mph and was very sluggish. Further down the road the lights kept getting dimmer and dimmer eventually the airbag light came on and off intermitently. Finally the needles went crazy jumping all over the place until all indicators (gas, rpms mph) all said the car should had been off. However car was still running. eventually stopped the car for not good reason the car worked fine again. What would cause something like this

So do yall think i can get a transmission off of a small ATV and use it on a go cart? I am assuming that i will have to find one that is chain driven right?

I’ve got a frame and an old push style lawn mower I’m about to rebuild. I’ts pretty weak (5.5 hp briggs) but I don’t have much of a budget. The biggest dilema is getting the power to the rear wheels with the vertical shaft. I was thinking chain driven, little differential if they made them, rack and pinion gears, or maybe some kind of front engine with a driveshaft thing. I’ve been thinking about it a lot and I’m stumped, any ideas?
Thanks

I want to keep the orginal gears on the bicycle so i can save a bit of fuel. I could guess that the motor would have to have a mount on the back and some welding would be required. Also would i have to upgrade the brakes to slow down faster due to the increased speed and momentum? wow, if this works, I will be burning tires on my huffy!!!

My friends and I are going to be building an electric go-cart and we want to have a few different gears and we want to use a bike one because we know it will work and easy to install. We want it to be a trigger shifter where you pull one trigger with your index finger with to shift one way and the other with your thumb and shift the other way. We’re looking for that and a derailleur in a package preferably to make it easier to install.

Okay so i am constructing a cart that is powered by a 5 hp lawn mower engine. me and my friend where thinking of using a belt and just throwing belt driven gears on the crankshaft. And we were going to switch the gears using a derailer, but i dont know. Any ideas?
