anyone have a go-cart frame…..i need one….a big one

a 16 hp duromax engine, and a go cart with everything, except the engine, theres a cord going from the gas petal too the engine were the old one was, what part of the new engine does that hook up/into?

When getting off the interstate, I hear an awful noise that seemed to come from the front right side of my car. After that there was a high pitch sound when giving my car gas (like a go-cart). I soon found out after parking my car would not go in reverse, but still drove forward. It seems like the gears were slipping too while changing. I had just drove it from St. Louis to Santa Cruz, Ca and it was fine the entire way. It now has 244000 miles on it but has been running great until now. Also, the transmission fluid is a dark brown. Are these all indicators of the need for a new transmission? If so, what’s the cost for this?

I have a go cart with the 5 hp tecumseh engine on it. My question is me and my friends are doing some night riding soon how do I hook lights up? Do I use a battery and recharge it before I go each time or is there something you can do so the motor will charge it? I really dont have a clue the best route i can go.

im working on an old go cart engine and the clutch is held on by 2 set screws, which i took off. But I think that it is also rusted inside on the crank shaft because i can’t get the clutch off still. I tried prying it, tapping it with a hammer, and now there is wd-40 soaking on the end of the shaft while the engine is on its side to hopefully leak down the shaft. Any ideas on how to get this thing off?? its the only thing keeping me from getting inside the engine.

hellloo… i was at Xtreme Indoor Karting in fort lauderdale florida yesterday and i couldnt beleve how fun it was, and now i really want to get a go cart of my own that goes in the 40-50 mph range just like theres did. but i cant seem to find any go carts that i could buy that go that fast… if u know of any where i could buy one of these then please share, or if u cant buy them and u have to modify them then please let me know where i could buy the engine and chassis, thankyou for your timee

I just bought a used go cart with the above engine. I pull up and the guy has the go cart running. Just sitting there ideling in his driveway. Well, I get it home and me and father in law cant get the damn thing started. We turned the kill switch to on and on the engine and turned the choke in every position we could. Then we checked the oil, there were 2 caps to add or check the oil. One on the front and one on the backside. It was oozing milky oil. What the hell? How did the guy have it started? How come we can’t? What is the solution besides replacing the engine?

No, no, we are not talking about the Holocene. I’ve whipped that dead horse enough.

Today I am talking about taxes, which artificially raise the price of fuels. Europe has paid artificially high prices for fuels for decades now. The thought process, I’m told, is that this will spur innovation, in alternative fuels. And spur inventions to save fuel as well.

So what do we have for innovations? We have hybrid electric cars, which still rely on dead dinosaurs. Electric cars, which have less range than comfortable hiking boots. And you still have to plug that sucker into a wall, and recharge it with a dead dinosaur.

And I’ll be honest here. I can’t afford to drop k on an electric go-cart. And I couldn’t fit or haul my trade around in it anyway. And your little electric go cart, is only marginally better than a Mini Cooper, mileage wise.

Nuclear energy, Japan, Chernobyl, Three Mile Island, and a few others has demonstrated the short term dangers there. And the disposal of spent fuel cells is the real time bomb with nuclear energy. Co2 is a trifle compared to a spent fuel rod, with a halflife of 500,000 years or so.

Windmills are expensive, high maintenance, and not too terribly reliable. Plus they slaughter endangered species, and have been blamed for beaching whales. High frequency resonance or something…

Solar energy suffers from the same problems as wind. If it were as great as you make it sound, then why are states building 0 billion dollar nuclear plants? Surely solar towers would be cheaper.

We have fuel injection. But that doesn’t really save fuel, does it?

The only real innovation, has been to put people into rinky dink go-carts, powered by lawn mower engines. Which is full circle to where the auto began.

But why do some of you, and you know who you are, insist that higher fuel taxes will solve anything?
30 years of artificially high fuel prices. And the best anyone has come up with are go-carts with electric motors?

I never implied the tax money was going towards innovation. That’s as ridiculous as claiming cigarette taxes are funding cancer treatment.

I had this dream that i was shia lebouf from "disturbia". And i was going to the movies with my parents, and someone was trying to kill me, but not if i was with my fam. So i followed them, but then they started to disappear from me. So then the killers tried to chase me and i escaped to this dollar store that was connected to it???? and i was driving on a go-cart race track throughout the store trying to get away from them??!!
so then they found me in the back of the dollar store bathroom and i woke up.

What could be installed on a go-cart, besides a battery, to generate power so I can add headlights. It has a 6.5 tecumseh engine.
someone told me there is something that can mounted near the flywheel to generate power.

Well i just got a mig welder and i was interested in making a go cart, Well i dont have the money to go buy a Vertical shaft engine, so what i was thinking is, Take the motor, and transmission off a lawn mower and put a chain and sprocket system instead of belts and pulleys. and make the frame and stuff and just put the engine directly behind the seat then run a short train directly to the tranny and have the tranny right behind the engine. then just lock the spider gears and extend the shifter. what do yall think?

I was at Mountasia (go-carts, mini golf, and bumber boats) and I was waiting for my friends to get off the go carts and there this girl that comes says "my sister thinks you’re hot." I got really embarrased and started to blush/laugh a little. And then I started SHAKING!! WHAT?? I was so nervous because nobodys every said that to me in person. (online yea but in person its different) Not that I liked the girl but still if I had how should I have reacted so I didnt appear as shy as I really am.

Oh and also while I was riding the go-cart the girl looked at what number car I had (each is labeled with a number) and started yelling out "go number 16!!! (my number)" I thought it was nice of her and I was really flattered lol.

I wanna build a go-cart. I weigh 140 and its goin to be made out of wood so add another 20 or 30 lbs. Its your regular mower engine and when you push the handle bar the back wheels move.

I’ve been at the beach for the past week. I’ve seen a lot of cute girls but don’t know how to approach them. I know people say just say hi, but I’m really bad at breaking the ice. I have no problem being confident and walking up to a girl, but I have no clue what to say after. I just blank out and it’s awkward.

Well i was in florida i went to funspot awesomest place ever lol and i was having fun and because well my parents say im not responsible i was on the go carts ready to beat someone had my purse in my lap and i turned a corner and the purse flew out with the cam my 0 dollar glasses the worst part the cam not even mind and i dont want my dad to worry about paying a lot to get it fixed i will post how the cam looks and my question….

I want to build a go cart. It could be made out of metal or any material. I really want it to have an electric motor that will allow it to go 30 to 35 miles per hour. If that won’t work i guess i can use a gas engine, but i really want to stay away from that. Thanks!

Well ive researched some places, and a lot of people said that K1 is not very good and not friendly. I just want a go cart racing place that’s not that hard core and kid friendly. ( I am a teenager and ive never raced :O ). So kid friendly, easy, and friendly service?

You know with the air conditioning lights a stick pedals seat covers wheel cover a new moter and if I take the cover off the go cart how do I make a new one also will I need a better motor and wheels also I want it to have a radio with speakers and also finally I want custom doors on it along with a new paint job and a built in phone for calling how do I put that into a golf cart?

My science group is building a homemade go-cart for the science fair, and would like some tips, like making a steering colunm, and getting seats.

I am trying to look for a Go Cart that can go speeds of 25-30 mph, is pretty cheap(lower than 420), would be better if it was electric but gas is fine, and (this doesn’t matter) it would be cool if it had two seats. Any one know where i can get one?
