Hi, I’m a 13 year old boy and I live in MI. I loved america for a while and know its…meh. I personally thank the government sucks and we have the worst people(mostly) anywhere. When I turn 18 and go to college/graduate high school, i would want to move to Japan to go to college. I know that the tests to be an engineer in Japan are grueling, but i have all 100% in school grades, i go to private school, and i build my own go cart engines. I also know how to draw Manga very well and i sell some at my school, I speak fluent Japanese, love fish and rice and all the yummy goodness:), and i know a bit of
circuitry. I also hate people who answer my questions with "LOL:D," so please don’t do that. if you could give me advice on what are popular careers(and good colleges, advice,etc.), I love everything though so…
AND i don’t just like their anime, i like their lifestyle…

Ok well when I tell you this you probably wont believe me but I swear its all true. Well the dream started out sort of like a movie would. There was a supermarket and 3 teenagers, a red headed girl and 2 guys(one was Edward Cullen, I SWEAR!!) And they were caught shop lifting and sent out of the store. Then me and my two friends, I don’t know who they are in real life, were leaving the store and we were in the exit area, you know the part that is like glass, and all of a sudden there was this vampire guy and he was grey and flying and he went into the entrance glass area and went into the supermarket and just started killing everyone. Me and my friends were terrified so we hid behind a row of shopping carts and after a few minutes they decided to make a run for it but they were killed too, and I was all alone. I was the only one that lived and like 1000 people died. And police came but the "murderer" got away. And then I was in the hospital, not because I got hurt but I was a bit traumatized. And Edward was there and so were a bunch of nurses and an adult guy. And they were just asking me questions and acting like a psychiatrist but they weren’t. And then I was walking around a bit and they asked me where the "murderer" hurt people and I put my hand on the right side of my neck and started crying because he like bit them. And Edward just like hugged me for awhile and took care of me. I got over it within a few days. And me and Edward just kept hanging out and he was protecting me. And we drove around and like were in love. It was very strange. And he met my mom, and she adored him and he thought she was wonderful as well. So the dream started out sort of upsetting and took a turn for the better. So any ideas on what any of this means??? Because I am so confused about it!!!
Haha yes I do love the Twilight series, but I haven’t read the books in about 2 months I did watch the movie a week ago though… hmmm, lol

Sometimes from adults, ESPECIALLY women, i always get rude glares and comments because i’m a teen.

like last night, around 11:30 i was walking home from a party, and i was walking downd my street. this lady was walking across the road to her other neighbor and when she got to her, she just totally turned around and stared at me.
i was just like "=)?"
and she kept staring at me and gave me the rudest look, then she kind of did the whole head shake "whatever b*tch your not worth my time" and turned around to talk to the other person.

what the hell??

and the other day i was outside of walgreens, and i was trying to fit in one of those tiny carts, and when i got in i couldn’t get out and my friend was trying to get me out etc you get the point haha
and there was a lady who walked by and she was like "OH, I BET YOUR PARENTS ARE PROUD!"

those are just two of the numerous similar events that have occured..

really though, what the hell is up with that?
it’s basically all of the older women who say rude remarks, give me nasty glares…

Okay so my dad got our family a Wii for christmas but he didn’t know what games to get with it, so he asked us which ones would be good. Honestly i have no clue about videos games and dont really play them to often.the only game i play is The Sims lol Im 15 and pretty girly- girl and i dont really like shooting games or anything like that. So what are some cool games? Oh and we already decieded were going to get Wii fit and Mario Carts.

k so i have a project due tomorrow and i need some help. i have to make a cart that stops on a dime (the middle of the cart has to stop on the dime). i have the basics of the cart (frame) but i need to find a creative idea to make it stop after it roles down a 1 m ramp and travels 3 m. i already have the string idea (but thats the final idea i can go with) any idea on a stopping mechanism? thanks(:

My question as stated above has been weighing on my mind for quite some time now. After reading quite a few of the questions posted here, and observing people in public, in the news, etc…my wonderment increases. I’m just wondering where so many peoples’ values, morals and integrity went? Was there some sort of sonic boom that erased all these things from the fiber of an ever-growing majority?

COURTESIES: 1)My husband opens my car door for me…and I get strange looks from people. I even had one **woman** ask me if I was handicapped. lol I thought this was supposed to be a common courtesy and sign of love from a husband to his wife? I am not pointing fingers at *all* people, but very rarely do I hear "excuse me" or "pardon me" if someone decides to run me over with a shopping cart in the grocery store! It’s rare for me to even hear ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ anymore.

CLOTHING:
What is with parents these days letting their children run rampant through the city half-naked? Or with vulgar logos on their clothing? Or with their pants hanging down to their thighs, showing their ‘undergarments’?? Some may say ‘well kids can change clothes after they leave the house’, etc—-I don’t buy that excuse. Unless a child is 16 and has a job—their parents are financing their clothing purchases. And, most **children** do not frequent clothing stores unless accompanied by an adult.

Teenagers are backtalking their parents in public places *all the time*. I heard a boy (couldn’t have been over 12) tell his mother to "shut up" a couple of days ago in the Hallmark store. I marched right up to him (to be honest) and told him that when I was his age, I wouldn’t DREAM of speaking to my parents in such a disrespectful manner! His mother tearfully thanked me….and the boy just sort of rolled his eyes and shrugged. Whatever happened to "Honor thy father and mother"?

People used to wave at each other on the streets (at least where I am from they did). These days, you wave at someone and they look at you suspiciously like you’re up to something. You ask someone how their day is going, and they think you want something. What happened to "Love thy neighbor as thyself"??

Maybe I’m living in the dark ages….? LOL All I know is that I am seeing morals and values less and less in this day and age and it **floors** me the way some people treat other human beings. Degrading them, instead of showing compassion and sincerity.

Anyone else care to share your thoughts on this? What happened to people? lol

If I come across as being judgmental I apologize. Perhaps I am being a bit judgmental, but more than anything else I’m truly curious as to what happened, and when. I’m not trying to ‘throw the first stone’ or ‘pick at slivers instead of the beam in my own eye’…….honestly. I have faults of my own of which there are MANY. hehehe….but treating others with respect and dignity isn’t one of those faults. I’m really just baffled by society today.

Im trying to be the cool big city Aunt. LOL ……rrrrright. My 16 year old niece lives out in the boonies and has all her life. She don’t get out much. I live in the nearest major city She has been to the mall here SEVERAL times so that would be boring for her.

She is coming down for a week and I want to make sure she has fun, and experiences the world outside her small hick town with me supervising her. I know adults are not that fun But I want to make sure her mom will let her come over again. What are some suggestions?

Go cart track, motor boats, a small amusement park. Anything cultural from different countries, (china town). She hasn’t been exposed to different cultures. The view points of the city. The electric train we have she has never been on and she is very excited to ride that. It takes you everywhere. The huge movie theaters, lazer tag, and the lazer light show. I was also thinking an Underage night club. ( I think her mom would not like that)

When I am at work and she needs to hang at my place. She is excited I have a pool at my complex that she can hang out at all day if she wants. Plus she will have my prepaid cell, and a laptop to use so she can contact her BF, me, her family and friends if she needs something. Plus cable, and a kitty.
Would that be fun er no?

I am a non-Hispanic brown guy. In my entire life, there have been a disproportionate number of rude people from the Black ethnic group than from the White group. This is not tantamount to saying that every Black person I have met was rude. That’s not the case. But certainly, it is palpable to me that Blacks are more likely to be rude in public than are White people.

Of course, there are many great Black people I admire: the incumbent president, the first lady, Will Smith, Kerry Washington, Chris Tucker, Chris Rock, Eminem (lol), Morgan Freeman, and others. But this fails to translate into everyday experiences with many Blacks. And I am not saying Brown people are any better.

I live in one of the most urban places in North Carolina. In fact, the part of North Carolina I live in has the most number of PhDs on a per capita basis in the entire United States. And it is pretty integrated too. Here, every time I go to a Sams Club or Walgreens — literally every time — the cashier is usually Black, as do many of the staff; and they are very rude. Today, my dad and I went shopping and the Black cashier was very indifferent to us, as usual. When the cart was on the usual side, she asked us to bring it to her side in a very rude tone, because the water bottles were on the cart and she didn’t want to look at it from her usual place. I would have confronted her had I gone with my brother. But today I just ignored her and left.

It is an entirely different experience with White people. They are much more polite, even more than Brown people of my specific ethnic group. Interestingly, the city I live in is comprised 45% of Whites and 44% of Blacks (11% others). So anyway you look at my experiences — collectively or per capita — my observations still hold to some precision.

I have a 3.5 year old and am about to have a baby. So I need to buy a car seat! I just don’t know what to get to make things more convenient and/or cheaper with less hassle. For my son I used an infant carrier for the first year, but I remember him getting very heavy to carry in it and eventually we just started taking him out of it instead. What I want to know is, with a 3 year old am I going to be able to handle carrying around a carrier? Will I be able to handle a 3 year old while carrying around a baby? Should I just buy one of those infant to booster seats? (all in one) And skip the carrier altogether? What did you do? How did it work for you? I also have not figured out how I will go grocery shopping with a carrier, if I put the carrier in the seat of the cart, my 3 year old would ride in the basket, then where would I fit groceried? lol. Obviously I am new at this. Tell me what works for you!!!
Correction, most infant carriers have a weight limit of 20 to 25 lbs, I have light babies, this should not ba a problem with me, but I do have a bum shoulder (for carrying it).

It is not recommended to use any harnessed car seats after 6 years.

Most all in one car seats, or at least the one I would get, is not recommended to be used after 6 years, but after removing the back and just using the booster, it is safe for up to 9 years.
I know how to read and have researched the car seats I am talking about. It states on the car seat that though the harnessed portion of the car seat may expire after 6 years. The backless booster can be used for an additional 3 years.
But I do agree that when it comes time to use a backless booster, if at all, I can just go buy one, they are cheap.
My concern is not the weight. My son outgrew his infant seat in height before ever reaching the weight limit. Forcing us to purchase a convertible seat to continue the rear facing position. I assume this child will be similar, certainly not the opposite.

i have a yz250 and kx 500 engine..both stroke and powerful as fuck..lol..i ride motocross,,and i am not gining up the ktm for it..lol…but anyways do u think that it is to much power a a go cart and that it would flip or anything?

Ok…so after 12 years of being together, my wife says to me after our last romp that we really need to change our pattern. We used to do it in cars, on the counter, on the stairs, etc.. Now it has become the same rerun over and over….I go down, she goes down, her on top, and lastly the standard position to finish. She actually told me that she can almost time each procedure right down to the last second.
She insists that I become more spontaneous and provide some sort of "shock value" to spice it up.

I recently went to the adult gallery to pick up some interesting new toys. I drove 30 minutes away to the city so that no one would see me in the one in my home town ( the PTA lady saw me there last year renting a movie—– its in the SUBWAY plaza and she was picking up lunch )

So, I have an assortment of little toys to display. But, thinking that would not be really enough to add real excitment to the event, I have entertained the following options:
A- I purchased a small golf cart battery with cables at Walmart that I will attach to her nips after I tie her up and blindfold her, or

I’m only 17 and I just got my first job at Kmart pushing carts for part time. I was excited to get this job, and I liked it during the training and everything. When I started my first real day, it was okay but I am already starting to hate it. I turn 18 in July, which I will be promoted to something else, most likely cashier. I was hired only two weeks ago and to be honest i’m hating this job already. I can do the job with no problems, greet customers, push carts, help other employees if needed, it’s all simple stuff that’s not hard work but I hate just going in for work. I don’t mind the customers at all, i’m used to them since I worked part time for one of my family members at his business. I really don’t care for most of the employees there, I like a few but most just seem to give others a hard time. Also the bosses/supervisors were nice during training, but lately they are no help to me at all. Any questions I have or any concerns they completely ignore me or any of the other employees.

To be honest I don’t want to go back in which would be monday, i’m seriously considering quitting my job, I only worked two weeks for them and it’s hard for me to go in to work. Another thing is I don’t seem to have the energy or time to do any school work because of my new job which is causing a big trouble. This is my first job and I don’t want to leave on bad terms so I am going to write a letter of resignation and turn it in on Monday and just quit right there and then. I know that giving a 2 week notice is more professional but I have no interest at all in working for them for any longer.

So I would like to have some of your guys opinions on this?

Keep in mind this isn’t really a money kind of thing, it was more of getting a little job experience so I know what to expect for the future. I graduate in late May/Early June and I plan on getting a full time job when I turn 18 in July, not as a cart pusher thats for sure lol.

I just bought a shopping cart cover to keep my little guy from touching/licking the horribly filthy looking carts when we go shopping .. I’m just wondering how often other Moms wash the ones you use? My initial (insane? crazy?) reaction is to want to wash it after every outing.. I figure I’m already doing his laundry every few days anyway, what’s one more thing to wash Just wondering how often everyone else does it so I can relax a bit about this lol .

Well, the last time we went, he bumped my cart which sent me spinning so of course I lost. He keeps saying he’s going to win again tonight. I’d love to beat him this time. I had the pedal to the floor last time and still couldn’t beat him! How can I beat him, other than cheating, which he obviously did by bumping me the last time, and do you think this kind of competition with each other is healthy? It’s all in fun!

OKAY so the kid isnt BAD!
My brother (turning 9 this week) has a friend who is over our house CONSTANTLY (friend is also 9). My mom and step dad dont realize it but this boy influences my brother to do things that he normally wouldnt do. I’m not saying that my brother is a saint, because he isnt.

Here are a few examples:
My brother has a go-cart but he is only allowed to ride it when an adult can closely supervise and when the ground is dry (so that its not all muddy) etc.. My brother knows when its okay to ask to ride the go-cart and when its not (IE: if it just got finished raining, my brother wont ask) this is a typical convo between the two
Friend: "can you ask your mom if we can ride the go cart?"
Brother "not today, its too wet outside"
Friend "Well then i minus well just call my mom and go home if we’re not going to ride it"
And then my brother says "okay i’ll ask" and he bothers my mom for HOURS, non stop, asking to ride the thing.

I’m 20 years old (21 next week) and my bedroom is directly accross from my brothers, so when the two kids are in his room I hear basically everything that goes on.

Now, this wouldnt be such a huge problem other than a few things.
1. I dont like my brother being pushed around like that
and
2. As well as the friend CONSTANTLY being over, I’m CONSTANTLY watching the kids. I’m sourt of like a "live in babysitter" lol. For example my mom had a dr appt today and asked me to get the kids off the bus (never told me that this friend would be coming over as well)

when my mom asks me to watch the kids so that she can go out to eat, or to the grocery store, she always forgets to mention that the friend is here too.

I’ve talked to my mom about it, telling her I probably wouldnt mind but I’d like to be prepared and that she needs to try to communicate better with me…
I’ve also shared my feelings about the friend but they’re convinced that hes a great kid!

I am taking small engine repair at my school 2nd period. I barely know jack about engines (i know how they work and a few basic things) but not nearly enough to work on them. I bought a 5.25hp briggs and stratton lawn mower engine from a guy not to far from me for . He said it worked fine last time he started it up. It looks in excellent condition and if it doesn’t run, I’ll fix it. I bought it for school to break it down (fix it if it is broken, which i doubt) rebuild it, and put it back together. I was planning on buying a go cart frame and simply mounting the engine on and driving around the neighborhood this summer after i take the course. I just realized after reading up on go carts a bit that I grabbed a VERTICAL crankshaft 4stroke motor. I can’t put it on its side because well, it will mess it up. It it were a 2 stroke motor i could, but its a 4stroke so i cant. Any advice on how to mount that? i know it can be done but not sure how. Any good books on building go cart frames/steering/braking? all the components to a go cart. I’m trying to find out where to take a welding course so i can just make my own dam frame. But then i would need gas/brake pedals, tires (easy to pick up, heard of craigslist? lol) and a steering collumn. I could buy one (i have two jobs) but i’d much rather get down and dirty and build it myself. any advice or good books/courses to look into are appreciated. I live in blue springs, MO…so…no tech courses or welding classes in san diego lol
