Starting a small buisness and bought the shopping carts from a tru-value that just went out of buisness and there name is engraved in the handle. I want to cover them.HELP!!!
If you look at dell.com or hp.com or alienware.com … Their shopping carts allow users to customize a product with images and meaning, AND it does not show that every part of the computer the person is buying like most shopping carts. I seen one cart demo – that after I customized my parts, I was going to be purchasing 14 items! Crazy…! No customer will use that … hehehehe …
I need the same features at the big companys in the shopping cart for the same business (selling computers).
What shopping cart out there is good enough. The only few I saw was:
SunShop shopping cart but it did not use big items just used little selectors to customize the items.
and
X-Cart which so far is the one, but it cost alot and is it all templates, which SUCKS! for a major company.
Please help anyone

Ok, so I will start off saying I was an idiot, bad parent, lazy or what ever negative thing you can say. I’ve said it all to myself. In a nut shell this is what happened. We went shopping at Kohl’s with both our daughters, One 4 and the other 1. We put the girls in there own cart to shop and I had the 1 year old and buckled her in. We just sat our other daughter in her cart for she will buckle herself in. Well the cart that had our 1 year old, the wheels were not allowing us to turn. 30 Min’s into shopping I was so annoyed I got down to look at the tires to see if anything was jarring, no. So I said lets let the 4 year old walk and put the one year old in her cart. We moved all the items out of the one broken cart into the other. Then put the one year old in the good cart. Here is the "my bad parenting part", this carts buckle was missing one of the halves to buckle it together…….. Yep, I kept her in there thinning we are almost done shopping, we are at the very back of the store in the baby section and I will keep a eagle eye on her…….. One second look away she stood up and fell out face first.
Question: Is Kohl’s liable for medical bill coverage even though I was a dip for keeping her in the cart that was not properly equipped?
Injury report: She is fine but ER Visit is nothing to smile about!
We are not sueing, we fill responsible but at the same time we are hoping for a regulation on these shopping carts to be hourly inspected. Maybe supply an employee to pass out, sanitize, receive and inspect safey of carts as they are being used! Just thoughts. Look up how many children die due to this same type of issue. Stunning number! We fill very fortunate to escape with minor injuries! We will be more aware of our choice of carts in the future! We actually have been viewing shopping carts safty videos and have learned many more safty tips that we never even took in consideration. Thank you for your thoughts! Happy Holidays!
Lol, this is funny how a simple question has turned into an example of people who are showing that they #1 do not read the complete posting #2 do not understand what they are reading #3 come up with silly remarks… lol thanks Ins. Pickle Guy and Mr. Purprick!
Best answer goes to mbrcatz….
We were not planning to sue, we had asked there postion on the situiation and they told us they have to review the video. After that and finding 5 other carts that were not at safty standards, they are offering us to pay for the med bills and are sending a check for 00. So it is, what it is!
The question they asked was if the buckle was in the cart, would we have used it. The footage showed her buckled in the cart that would not turn and showed me grabbing the belt to buckle her in the one missing the buckle. Footage showed us not leaving her unattended. We never asked for payment we only asked there position. We have insurance and where covered!
Remember, Mr.andMrs. WONDERING!

My daughter is almost 16 months and doesn’t say very many actual words. She says Hi about 500 times a day, and can say baby and shoe and a couple other words. She is very smart though, for example if I ask her where her baby is she will stop what she’s doing and go find her doll, or If I tell her to put her ducky in the carriage (one of those kids shopping carts) she does it. She understands almost everything I say to her. She has a doctors appt tomorrow and I plan on talking about it then, but wanted to hear what you all had to say?
I have a family member that wants to find out how to go and pick up abandoned shopping carts for stores and be paid to do it. How can he find out who to talk too about this as a part time job???
I don’t mean ebay or things like that. I want to be able to run my own website and sell my own homemade items ect. and start my own business. Should I take a class or are there any good books to help on this. I need to know how to get a website, domain, shopping carts, ect. and how to incorporate it all. And figure out how much it all costs. Thanks for anyone who can help!
Also, is there a site or somewhere that I can find out what’s a good investment or not. LIke what’s hot or what’s not. ect. so I know if what I’m looking for is even worth the time and effort?
my friends and i are all fans of the show jackass, dont mind getting hurt, and find stupid stunts really fun. the other day, we jousted in a parking lot of a store in shopping carts using hockey sticks, going at full speed. were in a ton of pain but it was worth it xD what things like that should we do?
I am building a Website, and 50% of the proceeds are going to go to the Charity of the Customers choice. How would I set this up? Are there any Shopping Carts out there that have this feature built in?
For those who don’t know what coscto is: It is a huge warehouse where they sell things in bulk, at wholesale… The aisles are 20 or 40 feet high, the shopping carts are double the size of a grocery store, unless people are using carts which are 4 times as big. Forklifts going up and down the aisles (I believe Sam’s Club is similiar)
Anyway, I go there with my mom (she has a membership) and if I so much as leave the side of her shopping cart, people cart right into me! I’ll wait patiently to cross the aisle, and no one will slow down enough for me to dart through the river of huge shopping carts. if i am standing near a sample table (where they give out samples of a food they are selling) people actually hit me with their shopping carts trying to get to the food.
if i don’t have a shopping cart, am i not a person??
Anyway long question short: does anyone else notice this?
My friend that works at Wal Mart has been a cashier there for 8 years. She said the home office had all the cart pushers fired & is making the cashiers & other workers go out to the parking lot & push in carts along with doing their regular work & lots of them are looking for other work. I had been wondering why the parking lot had shopping carts scattered all over it lately and therez NO WHERE to park. Then inside the store, there were no carts to use. If WalMart wants us to spend our money there, they should be a little more considerate of their customers. Itz bad enough that they’re so greedy they only give us a tiny bit of water to wash our hands in the restroom. We should STOP shopping there & find a more friendly store.
Heads would roll if dear Mr. Sam Walton were alive!!
Has anyone else had this problem? And is this going on at all Walmart stores? Thanks!

I’m taking the long drive to our only local Ikea and I’ve never been before. On the commercial it showed Ingmar with one of those flat furniture mover carts and I’m wondering if they have regular shopping carts with the kid seats in the front. I’m taking my baby with me and I need to know if I’m going to be able to put him in the cart becuase I really don’t want to be pushing around a stroller and a big flat cart…
Thanks!!!

..
….
i nver tried all of them yet
I know there are a lot of shopping carts out there. Here is the deal.
1) I already have a web site and a host.
2) I have a paypal account. I am going to use paypal to accept credit cards.
I just need a low cost shopping cart software that has shipping options, taxes, old / new product prices, unlimited products and looks good and not cheap looking.
I do not know html. I use Frontpage 2003 to build my web site. I just need a shopping cart software that will have a nice looking format already setup to add my products.
Note: I am not offering files to download. I am selling Herbailfe products. If you are aware of someone already having a shopping cart setup for these products and willing to hook me up, then please let me know.
I am still grossed out about shopping cart handles (those things are SO vile, they are proven to be more infested with germs and bacteria than a PUBLIC RESTROOM. They are covered in human saliva, mucous, urine, fecal matter and blood from raw meat.)
Anyway, I asked if people used shopping cart covers because those things are so gross for a baby to be sitting in.
I also said that ‘Public High Chairs’ don’t bother me (as far as germs go) because only babies sit in them.
The reason shopping carts gross me out is because of the nasty hands of ADULTS touching the handles, not the babies.
Baby ‘germs’ don’t bother me.
A couple people said that ‘baby poop’ is just as bad as adult poop.
WHAT? I don’t think that at all..
Baby poop isn’t pleasant, but it wouldn’t gross me out. If a baby got poop (or vomit) on me I wouldn’t freak out … BUT if an adult pooped on me (or vomited) on me I would totally freak out. I’d probably cry. lol.
So, am I weird for not thinking that baby poop is as gross as adult poop?
Do *most* people put baby poop and adult poop in the same category as for a ‘Nasty and Disgusting!’ goes?
[and here is the link about how incredibly vile shopping cart handles really are]

Who is in charge? The kid or the parent? Let me hear from some parents that do this. I would like to know what you have to say. Don’t you realize how that looks?
