I called a web developer to help me with a new thing… I found a good webhost that supports frontpage extensions. They have a shopping cart that I want to hook up my website to, eventually, and that is why I called this fella. Well this web developer told me that he would have to redo my entire website and omit Frontpage and it would cost 00 now and 00 later on for something (I quit listening after the 1st 00). Anyway, he further said that Frontpage sites are never found on a search, they are obsolete and he wouldn’t put his name to a Frontpage site. I reiterated that all I wanted was hooked up to this shopping cart, but he was not budging.

So, my main question to you is whether you know if Frontpage is that bad or not? Are Frontpage websites hidden from searches for some reason? Can you explain?

I’ll be willing to change if his claims hold water, but I would rather just go to a host that has templates to choose from or else spend for adobe or something of that nature. I would NEVER pay 00 + 00. That is ludacrous!

I am interested in becoming involved in the world of paid automobile racing, and I don’t have a lot of money to spend. I know there are schools where you can get your licence for racing, and programs where you can race your car, but I want to know where I can compete, win, and have it matter in my goals of becoming a professional, without having to empty my wallet to do so. I compete in autocross events, I’m an amateur drifter (I know it’s not racing, but it’s a skill set), I have driven drag in 10 second cars, and have raced shifter carts occasionally, and can handle any motor vehicle with ease (dirfbike, jetski, atv, even backloaders and cranes) since I was about 5 years old. I know that I can do it, I just don’t know how to start competing in a matter that would accomplish something or gain me some sort of rank amongst other amateurs looking to make a career out of it, instead of competing against enthusiasts who aren’t looking to advance in the sport.

I see a lot of people who grew up racing dirtbikes and circle track cars and go karts getting the oppritunities to make a career, but they are all well funded by their well-off parents or families, and it’s a hobby at first. I am starting later in life (20) than most pro’s, but I know I can get there.

I would really appreciate any information on what I should do, how I can do it, and the best ways to do so.

Ok, here is the deal – I have my own candle business, all is going well without a website – so I figured why not up the anty? I offer custom candles – so I will have 3 drop down menus. The first you pick your scent – I have a bunch of scents to offer, then the second you pick your color. Then the last one, you pick what size you want. How do I link all the buttons so that when they have made all of their selections and click on the ‘add to cart’ button all of the info transfers over?? Please keep in mind, I am an idiot – lol. J/k, I just do not have a whole lot of experience writing code and none linking it all together. Is there an easy way to do this (relatively speaking of course)??

In New Orleans parades for mardi gras and all over Louisiana as well. There are often small two to four seat cars that look like go-carts on steroids. They are often yellow or another bright color, and are smaller then a BMW Mini, the engine is often exposed in the rear and is about the size of a VW bug engine with similar exhaust. I am basically looking for who makes these vehicles to see if they are street legal and how much they cost.

I’m bored as hell, so I decided ot start a new project. Right now I’m in inter. auto shop so I have a pretty good amount of knowledge about engines, how they work, stuff like that but not EVERYTHING. So if you think there’s anything I need to know first please let me know.

I don’t want to buy a go-cart, I want to make one. Mostly for the experience, fun and sentimental value (not to mention it gives me something to do) and plus I’m going to be opening my own auto shop within the future so I would like something that can kinda sorta give me a nice kick in that direction.

Keep in mind that I don’t want to spend all that much money on this (maybe 0-0). I just want a pretty good go-cart or maybe even a good utility go-cart (if there is such thing. Just something that is rugged and can hold up in woodland environments) so I don’t want the best of the best, high end components.

So if there’s a site or if you can even perhaps go through the steps on how to make a go-cart from the ground up with me, starting with a lawnmower engine or chainsaw engine, that will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

So i was driving down a narrow mountainous road (i don’t even drive a mini cart) and i was looking to this great gulf with small rocky but green islands spread here and there. And every time i took a turn i could hear someone telling me to be careful and i answered back although i don’t who it was. I had the mixed feelings of being stubborn and scared to death and apparently doing a good job with this driving thing. And the next minute i see a fat blonde lady holding me and we are flying over the mountain over the sea over the gulf. And i look outside from the gulf and i see the endless wavy sea. The gulf is a beautiful and peaceful place you know the kind of having small birds all over. And suddenly the fat lady takes me underwater where she leaves me with a smile. Here i am looking at all these colours walking around underwater havin the sence that this is very natural thing for me to do. At the end i was making friends with a sea turtle.

3. I need a method of propulsion (I was thinking maybe a mouse trap going off)
4. I need a method of stopping it. (Without attaching anything extra to it)

Ideas I have already for propulsion: Mouse trap, ramp (either of those would work) (Weight is a big factor in this)

Ideas I have for breaking system: A set amount of string attached to the axis. (I could still use an equation for the length of string needed)

I’ll try to describe: Imagine a two-wheel dolly with little (8" tall x6" wide) fat tires/aluminum rims, and a metal box with a lid (instead of a flat platform) that holds a car battery. A pair of thick cables run from the battery box to an engine starter (automotive size). The starter is mounted perpendicular on a bar shaped in a half circle (to be able to pick up & hold the starter) that also has a push-button/ solenoid setup attached where your right thumb could press. At the business end of the starter, instead of a gear (like a car starter) there is a flat disc with teeth. Also on this end is a smaller, flat metal, half circle piece for attaching the starter to whatever you want to spin or turn. So – you can pick up the starter, attach/ mount it temporarily to some kind of motor/engine/gear/something, press the button and make "something" spin. There are a few more idiosyncracies, but maybe you get the idea. Any thoughts? Have pics,Hope someone knows! Thanks in advance!!

Okay, so I’m a college student working at Starbucks in a local shopping center. I was leaving work at about 12:30am, driving through a darker section of the exit of the parking lot. Under the freeway overpass, there was a lone shopping cart sitting right in the middle of my lane. I didn’t even see it until the last second – I tried to swerve to avoid hitting it, almost missed it, but i hit it with the front right corner of my car.

The front right fender looks like it is bent in, which caused a crack inside the headlight assembly (light still works and everything), and there is a ~4-5" long, 1" wide area above the headlight where the paint is chewed up and slightly dented.

Can anyone with any experience give me a ballpark figure on what this is going to cost me to fix, based on what information I’ve given you? If you need me to elaborate more, I can. I have only PL & PD insurance; not sure what the deductible is at this moment. Thanks in advance!
