What if a bolt, or screw was to go loose on a Fasttttttttttttt rolller coaster??..not those seated-cart ones, but the ones where your legs fly in the air.. Would that be the last day of your life??
Watch Final Destination 3 (i think it’s 3). You’ll see
Might be able to watch that 1 scene on youtube
the worst thing that could go wrong is the cart or the thing that u sit on would be that it falls of the track but that would be a one in a life time thing cause that are checked thouroghly every 30 mins so u would be really safe to go on a rollecoaster unless it is a poor amusement park
Where is this screw or latch that came loose?
Most rollercoasters at parks are welded together, so it’s unlikely a bolt on the track would come loose.
If the screw is on the train, most rollercoaster trains have a secondary connection. This means that if one car seperates from another then it’s still going to be held together by the back-up connection.
In reality, you don’t have to worry about this happening. All rides (including carnival rides) are throughly inspected before they are allowed to open. Mechanics at all theme parks inspect rides daily to make sure there is nothing wrong with them and nothing can happen.
there would be a cadlasaxes reaction which would automatically make the ride stop. im not a nerd.
