The website would be to sell a service, and would need a shopping cart, drop down menus and it would need to be able to accept credit card/debit card payments. I don’t know anything about web design, so it would also need to be something fairly easy for me to do on my own, without the use of codes , etc.

    http://www.fasthosts.co.uk/ and
http://www.1and1.co.uk/ are both worth looking at.

you will need a merchant account for your bank card side of things so maybe look into paypal as they can help there.

If you hire a website designer to create your website, it will be very pricey. May I suggest that you get your own Domain name through http://www.GoDaddy.com (under $10 each name per year) and than use http://www.LowPriceBuilder.com to create your web site.

I use http://www.LowPriceBuilder.com for few years. They only charge flat price, ($15 per month) ,and include Web hosting, Shopping Cart system, 30 more functions….. etc. This would be the most inexpensive way to have your e-commerce web site to go online. The builder allows you to create your web page easily without knowledge of coding or programming language.
