I want to use paypal for selling some items through my website, where can i get this code? How does it work? do i need to register with paypal in order to use it as my electronic shopping cart? Will i need to create a credit card form on my website to do this, or all i need is the paypal script?
Please can you explain me in details step by step on how paypal works? How am i going to be paid when a customer buys items from me though paypal?
Here is the deal. The paypal shopping cart only accepts payments which can be processed through paypal. Therefore people with paypal accounts and credit cards. Now it you want a all around ecart which accepts credit cards, money orders and paypal there are some available at a fee. I believe zen cart is one. You do need a paypal account because that is where the money will go. The code for the paypal shopping cart is generated from within your paypal account. You will need to click merchant tools and follow the directions.
If you go to Paypal and log in you will see a Merchant’s tools section. This provides all the info you need to use paypal as a checkout but NOT a shopping trolley. For that will need supporting software on your web site.
