I am in a portable wheelchair and a lot of times when I go to a store they either don’t have any electric wheelchairs or they are all being used. Also alot of the time it’s extremely difficult to find a handicap praking space. Sometimes someone is in the space without a sticker or a license plate designating them as handicap. This irks me to no end and the store won’t call the police because they’d lose a customer.

First of all, they don’t owe you an electric chair, so go buy your own. Second, if you asked the store to paint a few extra handicap parking spots, they probably would. Third, there are a lot of stores out there that are nice and generous enough to provide free chairs. Try Walmart, Whole Foods, and local malls.

Most stores I’m at have multiple open handicap spots while the lot is mostly full. You can call the cops yourself if you can’t park because of a non-handicapped person.
