I do know what you mean, everytime i would take the boys someplace as babies the straps were either missing or broken. As for the dirty highchairs and changing stations, i started carrying those wipes that disinfect for those and shopping carts (nasty handles). Some places really just either don’t have the staff to clean all that and repair or they have teens working that just want to get there, get done and get out with a paycheck (yes I know some adults are like that too)

lol I know! The high chair straps at restaurants are ALWAYS broken! We went out to breakfast once with my in-laws and the waiter had to search for literally 15 minutes to find a high chair (at Denny’s of all places) and when he finally brought it over…no straps!! As if a strapless highchair is going to do anything to hold in a squirming toddler lol. My husband just went to the car and brought in our son’s stroller. (which of course the waiter complained about because it "blocked his access to our table") lol I swear.

I have to agree with you I hated that when my son was littler all the places we took him i had to hold him with one arm and shop or eat with the other. I however and starting to do something about it and maybe you can help out like this too. Every time you go to a place with a high chair dirty ask to speak to a manager about it and if they wont offer to clean it for you then stand up and make a mess with crackers or something on your seat and ask them to sit in it. Also when you go to places with changing stations that should have straps or are dirty talk to management about that also and then get online to their company web site and write their corporate people about it.
